I started my journey with the Cheesecake Factory with a group of friends with the goal to fill my belly with warm pasta and to afterwards gorge myself upon some dense cheesecake.
As it was my first time within the establishment I took notes of the design and decoration which served to be a fine distraction for the group, much of us being a tinge awkward and slightly stiff conversationalist.
There was no denying the excitement was palpable as at least half the group had never been and the word amongst the others was promising.
Allass the food disappointed greatly, ranging from fine to yuck. Random non ordered pasta shapes were mixed together as if they were short on different cuts. Dishes were over or under cooked and overall a lack of flavor or inspiration. The worst of it, I was so thrown off by the food I had forgot to try the cheese cake.
In defense of the factory, it was a late Thursday night. I later made the acquaintances an ex cook of TCF and found him to be at times a difficult fellow, maybe his sourness infected our dishes. Either way I am a man who wants to believe. To believe in the Cheesecake Factory. So a second chance would be given, now with one goal in mind…
Cheese cake, Cheese cake, Cheese cake
In anticipation for our feast those words were chanted on the drive over. It was 6 months later and I was once again walking through those doors. Only one month prior I tried my own hand at making a Oreo cheesecake(it was pretty tasty but not a good texture, too wet). So naturally I bought a slice of their Oreo cheesecake. My buddy went with plain, kinda a BB. We took our slices to the quiet woods and popped our containers open. I took a curious nibble and my face soured. I turned to see my friend wearing a similar reaction. My heart simply shattered, I couldn’t even get halfway through…
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice your cake taste doodoo.

Read moreLet me preface this review by saying we have given this location many chances, but today was the last time we will be going to this particular one. This location is located in a mall, with a section outside of the restaurant but inside the mall itself. Many times(especially when we go with our children) we are seated in that section. We tend to be forgotten and not have the best experiences. This visit it was only me and my wife. They seated us in the bar area(even though there were plenty of empty tables throughout the restaurant). No big deal I thought, at least we were inside the restaurant. Our server came over(who was also the bartender). She took our drink order and asked us if we wanted bread, which we said "Yes please". She delivered our drinks and took our food order. No bread. She then disappeared. The bar became busy and she became very focused on them, basically forgetting about us. Another server delivered our food. At one point we both needed refills of our drinks, but there was nobody there to fill them for us. We never did receive our bread. I ordered my burger Medium rare, but the middle of it was basically uncooked. I ate around what I could, and just left the rest. By the time our server freed herself from the bar and came to check on us we were pretty much ready to go. We asked for the check and paid. While I don't fault the server completely for our bad experience(Management should better staff the bar area, especially if they are actively seating diners there.) this was the last straw for us. It's too bad, because we really like the Cheesecake Factory. This is the only one that isn't about an hour drive for us. Looks like from here on out we will be driving to Danbury to eat there. I hope someone sees this review, and uses this as an opportunity to provide a better experience to their guests in the future. It just...
Read moreMy friends and I sat at a table and ordered appetizers and drinks. It took close to an hour to get our drinks and appetizers. I had one rasberry lemon drop and one regular lemon drop because they ran out of rasberry. My boyfriend picked up the tab and I looked at the bill before he paid and my two drinks were $16. We then went to sit at the bar and the bartender Britney automatically told my boyfriend that he is not 21 (which he is). He told her to re read the date on his license and she mimicked him and started laughing. She proceeded to pour him the lightest drink ever - he didn't even want it. I ordered another lemon drop at the bar. When she gave me my tab my drink was $17 dollars so I kindly asked why it was more expensive when at the table it was $16 for two. There had to have been some mistake. She said that was impossible. I asked to see a copy of the receipt from our table and they printed a new one with THREE rasberry lemon drops. I said that wasnt our receipt because ours had two on there for $16 dollars. They proceeded to tell me that was our receipt from the table - I only had two drinks at the table not 3. They said they charged me for 3 lemon drinks at the table (which isnt true) and also charged me double the price for one drink at the bar. They wouldn't check the camera or give me a refund. They claimed to have charged for for three drinks at the table when I told them to check the cameras because I had two they said they wouldnt because it was hours ago. Keep in mind we waited AN HOUR for our drinks. They ended up calling the cops and asking us to leave. This whole situation was so unprofessional the bartender and the manager Brianna should not be working in customer service. I have gone here multiple times and I never want to return. 0/10 expierence. I will be calling my credit card company to disbute the charges as well as...
