I originally went to the store because my Iphone 6+ had touch disease. Once I arrived to the store I specifically told them that my phone had touch disease I also told them that replacing the screen will not fix it since I googled it. They told me they could fix it, no problem. So I left my phone with them and within an hour I went to pick my phone up and charged me $95 to fix the phone, so I paid them and the next day my phone started to have touch disease again. I went back to the store and they told me that there were no technicians available so I went back a different day, and I was told that I have to come back when the technician who originally took my phone was working. So this is my third time here so far. They tell me his scheduled and I come in during his work day and they told me I have to come back again when a manager is working, so I leave and come back the said day. When I arrived they told he was not working that day, but they had another technician and he told me that they do not treat touch disease. So then what did I pay $95 for? Then he told me to come back when that representative was working. I ask for his scheduled again and come back the said day. When I arrived again, they informed me that the original technician does not work there anymore. Awesome.
-In this time period I bent the phone since it was in my pocket and sad down with it. The screen also got damaged.
The person at the desk wanted a second opinion about the situation and asked for someone else. As he came towards the desk I heard him tell his employees something along the lines that "Everyone here is nice to customers, but I'm a dick." He literally said that. Very unprofessional. He told me that since I've damaged my phone I'm all out of luck, but did not answer why I originally paid $95 for NOTHING. He evaded the questions by saying that since I damaged it there's nothing they could do. I wasted $95 and did not even get an apology. I told him this is unjust and he rolled my phone up in my original receipt and he told me that "this is what apple would do" and handed me my phone. I drove from my house to this establishment five times. I have better things to do than to deal with people like him. This place has been nothing but rude and unprofessional. I cannot believe I fell for this...
Read moreSo my 1 year old got a hold of my iPhone 6 and dumped in the dog's water ball and by time I realized my phone wasn't turning on anymore, I checked online and saw that a lot people were saying that putting it in a sealed bag with rice for a couple of days can save your phone cause the rice absorbs the moisture, but that wasn't the case for me, it was still not turn on, so I took it to apple, they said nothing could be done to save the phone that I could get a replacement for $300 but for me it wasn't even about the money, I wanted to recover all my pictures a videos, and other info I had in there, so I kept looking and I came across this store at the Trumbull mall, and I must say that at first I was a little sckeptical because the guy claimed so confidently there was a very good chance my phone could still work when at Apple they had told me that nothing could be done, at this point It had already been almost 2 weeks since the incident, so I was using my old iPhone 5 in the mean time, er ww. I decided to give it a shot so next day I brought them my phone, they say it would take some time so I left it and went to work, to my surprise the technician called me after about two hours to informe me that the phone was working, they ended up having to change the battery, the charger connection and the screen but my phone looked just as new and I was able to recover all my stuff, and to prevent this from happening again they gave me a really good deal on a water proof case and a Temper glass screen protector, so now my phone is child proof and all of this together was still a better deal than what apple wanted to...
Read moreI brought my iPhone to Street Talk to repair a cracked screen. The deal sounded good, less than the Apple store, quick service, and the rep said they used original parts. As soon as I got home, I realized a couple of blue splotches on the screen. I returned and they replaced the screen after giving me a hard time about it. Several days later the screen became unstable and I tried to replace again. This time they rejected my request, saying it was not covered by warranty. I spoke to Apple who said that they could not be using factory parts. Brought it to another place and its been fine since. This place is a waste of time and money, very disappointed, spend the extra few bucks and go to Apple, it's right down the hall...
