Read moreI had to visit Reynoldsburg and stay there for 6 months for my personal work. I did my lunch and dinner at this place every-time, so I can help with a detailed review.
Food: The food reminded me of India, Nepal and all the Indo-subcontinents. On the first day I had very spicy food so I called up the server and he explained me that the spice levels can be adjusted while ordering. If you visit the place, make sure to adjust your spice levels. Best food: paneer tikka masala and naan If you are very hungry: Thaali set with your choice of meat. (The best part is the plate is full of mouthwatering side dishes)
Bar: Dur-Bar has a wonderful variety of liquors ranging from beer, wine and hard ones. The Bartender seems to know what he is making, and it is perfectly made. They serve a lot of cocktails and mocktails. Getting tipsy feels wonderful with some sports playing in the display. And if you are lucky, you can have some good conversations with the bartender, he is a fun person to talk with (:wink) Best cocktail: Night in Thamel (a mixture of drink served with chilly spices)- very unique and tasty
Service: As soon as you enter the Restaurant, you are greeted with a smile and escorted to a seat according to how many people are there with you. You can ask them for a specific seat if it is empty. They make sure you are comfortable with your experience at Durbar.
Atmosphere: The moment you open the door, the Aromatic scent of Biryani hits your nose and you start getting hungry from that moment. The room is well lit with warm yellow light. The paintings and artifacts from Nepal are hung all over the place. The tables are clean and well kept. A soft authentic Nepalese music gives you a sense of reaching Nepal without the hassle of getting into the plane and reach the other side of the world.
Bonus Tip: Order some Mango Lassi! It’s one of the most refreshing authentic Indian-Nepali drink you can find in the Town.
Something I wish they had: A variety of soup that would be good for appetizers and...

I started with the Chicken Sekuwa, a dish that perfectly captures the essence of traditional Himalayan barbeque. The chicken, marinated in a blend of Nepali spices and cooked to perfection in a tandoor, offers a smoky and tender taste that leaves a lasting impression. Each bite is a burst of flavors that are both unique and familiar, a testament to the chef’s authenticity and culinary prowess.
To complement my meal, I opted for the Mango Lassi. This drink, a blend of yogurt, water, spices, and mango pulp, was refreshingly sweet with a tangy twist, providing a soothing balance to the spiced chicken. The lassi was creamy, thick, and perfectly chilled, acting as an excellent palate cleanser between bites of the savory sekuwa.
