I ordered a Thai tea with tapioca boba. It tasted like powdered instant mix and had a powder aftertaste. The boba were not quite tender and had zero sweetness. I'm expecting for the price a vendor that brews their tea and cooks their boba and soaks them in brown sugar syrup, not instant. Also the cleanliness of this location kind of made me question if I should have just left after walking in but the staff were using gloves so I hoped for the best--but I noted a gallon of milk sitting out on the counter the entire time I was waiting for my drink and it did not appear to have been used while I was present.
I ended up dumping my tea. It definitely tasted like the instant packets you can pick up at any ethnic grocer with the instant creamer and it was not worth the calories to drink it. It's a shame because the location is great, but I would expect better quality for the cost. Perhaps their instant fruit mixes are better. I will skip this one unless I hear the...
Read moreI am a big fan of frozen fruit bobas. Not all boba tea places carry slushies, since in most cases they are not teas or do not typically have a tea base. But turns out, this place has them! But what's even better, they have ice cream that you can add as a topping. I only know of one other boba tea place that does that in Columbus, and it's a 30 minute drive from here. So yes, think Italian ice with boba! I was able to get my favorite, a mango slush topped with ice cream! And their mango flavor was SO good! But that's not all. This place has a jumbo size, that is HUGE, for a dollar more than a large (their large is the same size you would expect at any other boba shop). WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I'm very happy with this new boba shop in Reynoldsburg. The owners said they have only been open just a little over 3 weeks. This is now my new go to boba place! I hope everyone comes out and supports this new shop. I want them to stick around for...
Read moreAmazing, friendly staff, great Boba and lots of choices of bubble tea, other drinks, smoothies, etc. We tried new Boba tea flavors and they were yummy! My son said it's the best Boba yet. The last time we went, the lady working there really went over and above! She had a menu for their family restaurant next door and we ordered right there in the Boba shop, waited to pick up our food, but the restaurant brought it over! I paid and went back to Pataskala to enjoy dinner. The Aromas on the drive home was bursting with so many flavors! No comparison so far and I've been to quite a few. My son and I absolutely loved our first visit at both businesses! Wait for your food and Grab a Boba tea! We will be going back. I wish I took...
