Massey's Pizza - Reynoldsburg — Restaurant in Truro Township

Placed an online order and went to pick it up after 40min estimated time. Upon arrival gave her my number and she advised that they couldn’t find my order and it must’ve been handed out to someone else. They told me they could make me another pizza and it would be a 15 minute wait so I waited. After 15 min she hands me the “remade order” which wasn’t the order I placed. She asked me for my telephone number once again then goes to the back. She came back with a pizza that she claimed was the pizza that they just remade when I specifically asked her was this a new pizza. Shame on me for not checking because once I got home I sat down to a cold pizza. So apparently that wasn’t the truth and the pizza that she miraculously found in the back on the warmer was probably my original order that I placed which had been sitting there the entire time. Not only was the pizza cold but the taste and quality has definitely went down hill. Called to let the manager know and not once did she apologize for the mixup and gave me the option to come drive the pizza back and...

Ordered from Massey's for the first time in a while and was not really impressed with this visit. I don't blame Massey's directly for this issue but their quote on the website for time it would take the order to be ready was really inaccurate. The order was placed right before 5pm on a Friday so I didn't exactly expect it to be right on time. When I entered and walked up to the counter I was told that half of my order was done but they were waiting on the other pizza to come out. I waited almost 30 minutes for the pizza to come out of the oven while I thought well now the rest of the food has been sitting there for a half hour, it's probably luke warm at best now and I was not wrong. The boneless wings were cold in the middle. The Pizza sub was cold and the cheese had congealed from sitting and even the pizza that I had to wait on was not hardly warm at all. I'll still give them a few stars and another chance because I understand that they can do better and next time I hope is a different outcome. The key to a good Restaurant is...

I do NOT recommend this location.

They were fine the first few times we ordered from them, other than the long wait for delivery. But God forbid you ever have a problem with your food. We ordered a pizza with extra cheese and extra pepperoni, and a cup of sauce on the side for dipping. The layer of cheese was way too thick, there was almost no sauce on the pizza, and the "extra" pepperoni was sparse and burnt to a crisp. The crust was also really burnt on the bottom, and we did not receive our extra side of sauce. In short, the pizza was inedible.

The manager, who called himself Joey, was rude over the phone. He argued that he himself had made our pizza and it was "perfect", and said he'd been working there for a whole one year. He then continued by schooling us on how to properly make a pizza. When we asked for his name and said we'd be contacting corporate, he laughed and said go ahead, it's a franchise, they won't do anything and he'd still have business.

Well, they've lost our business. We'll get our pizza elsewhere...
