American Deli — Restaurant in Tucker

I do not recommend this place to anyone, not even the homeless. I can’t believe I brought my family here to dine in. The level of service was horrible. We came at 7:30pm. I’m assuming the closing time for this particular location on Sunday night was 8:30 because around 8:15 my family was told they were closed and we needed to stop eating and exit the building so they could go home. I would never return here not even to spend a $1.50 on a bowl of fries. The staff here is not diverse at all, they were all of spanish decent, Mexican I believe. I’m not sure if we were treated so poorly because we are an African American family. Before sitting down I politely asked the lady to clean a table for us so that my family and I could sit together, she looked at me confused and told me that she would take care of it. She just left the building and never returned, forcing my family to sit at separate tables and then rushing us out to lock up the doors. They didn’t clean off the tables, nor did they take out the trash and they were halfway out the door before I could even get my chicken bone out of my mouth into the trash can. Their cars left the parking lot before I could even get my car started. Pictures listed is how the place was left on my way out. We even asked them if they were going to clean the tables and take out the trash and they just told us to hurry up they had to close the building. I’m disgusted and I pray this food doesn’t...

10-9-18 - Wings - had Lemon Pepper wet, Honey Hot, and Hot wings; large fry; and 2-liter of Sprite. Not too crowded, but quite full and all were satisfied. Great service from behind the counter and the cooks as well. They all made sure we were taken care of. The food came out in good time, and was hot and fresh. All American Deli's aren't the same, from the service to the size of the wings, to the containers they are placed in. I enjoy this location over other one's, since before my go-to wing place was Atlanta's Best Wings on Memorial Drive.

8-27-18 - Decided on some wings while out, and over this way. Not a fan of American Deli, but I just may have to jump on-board at least at this location. Ordered hot and lemon paper wet wings, fries, and a 2-liter soda. The service was professional and timely. Since it was closing soon only 2 orders were ahead of us. Didn't take long, and the lemon pepper wet wings were on point. Others I have had weren't as seasoned and tasty. The hot wings were spicy as well. The fries were ok. Overall we were well pleased. It is a stand alone building, easily seen from the road. May have to go back and try the Chicken Philly Cheese...

Not good! Due to Covid-19 they take your phone number to call you when your order is ready for pickup. That's fine except when it doesn't work. After sitting in my car for what seemed like an awfully long time for a simple 10pc & fries I went in to check on my order. Well, my order was sitting on the counter, for how long, I don't know. The girl says I called you, "no, you did not" I replied. She looked at her list of phone numbers and concluded she had written my number down incorrectly. Well, that's ok, mistakes happen, my complaint, how long were you going to let my food sit there? My "PAID" for food! Did you even consider that you may have written down the number wrong & maybe I should take the order out to the customer?? Good customer service is extremely difficult to come by, let alone exceptional service! I will not be returning, not because she wrote my number incorrectly, but because I see that they don't appreciate their customers willingness to spend their hard earned money at their establishment! Going the extra mile never hurt a business, not providing even the basic level of good customer service can...
