MoonShadow Tavern — Restaurant in Tucker

Came in after work for a simple Angry Orchard, nothing major, seen a couple of my friends who are regulars as well. I went to the bar and seated second seat from the bathroom side, I waited and timed about 10 minutes until I got up and walked to Ella a server/bartender. I asked her if they were on shift change and if that's why the bartender has not acknowledged me whatsoever. Continued passed me several times, as a fellow bartender and service industry worker ill at least 10 yearsmyself. I know this male bartender was purposely ignoring me, as he helped everyone around me and as everyone was taken care of so it wasn't busy for him, instead he chose to walk back and forth as the gentleman next me was asked if he was ok. I then stood up ordered with Ella who apologized, as a fellow local and service industry worker in Tucker, I do not appreciate this tasteless behavior. Not only that but this is someone who is representing Moonshadow Tavern, racism is quite immature but then again everyone may not be grown up. I will not be back if he is bartending. So it was my first time there. Me and my friends got a drink and started enjoying the karaoke. The manager came over super aggressive telling us we need to either "SHOW ID or GET OUT!" First, there was no one at the door to check ID and also the bartenders did not check our IDs. He started yelling at my friend, we told him he need to calm down. He then told 3 of us, "we were good, because we've been there before" mind you.. Ive never been there before at all. I kindly explained his behavior was inappropriate and very aggressive and just for context, It was about six of us and we are all black. He said he have been having a lot of under age issues. Which I understand to check the IDs, but his aggression was very uncalled for. We told him that he need to check everyone's IDs also and he said he's not dealing with the race card, which we never brought up. He's very disrespectful and rude and we told him we wont be back and he told us he'd prefer it that way. I could be wrong but he seemed very off like he was on something and the bartenders seemed...

Ohhh well, I've posted before on Moonshadow WITH pictures. I've been going in there since the very very beginning. Folks, truly, it doesn't get any better. This is a last vestige of the Tavern... different than just a "bar". Taverns' serve food in addition. And THIS is THE Absolute Best example of the rapidly disappearing Tavern. The food is totally off the chart! Patty, prepares food in a way that just, somehow, has that extra something which separates it from just good food to spectacular food. Also the presentation (the way it looks on the plate when its served) is perfect. Patty has put food in front of me that Looks so good It's a shame to eat it...lol! And I haven't even started to talk about All the other elements of this Wonderful place. The ENTIRE staff are exemplary examples of genuine cool people. I could go on and on.... Suffice it to say, GO THERE. Don't go expecting a formal dinning experience though. These folks are down home friendly people, who might just ask you your name...they serve up what I've enjoyed for a...
