I don't order frequently from this Marco's. Over the period of time since opening, I've had delivery 3 times, and picked up once. Here's why - My very first "grand opening" experience was a delivery order. I ordered 2 large pizzas, and an order of their cheesy garlic bread. The order arrived promptly, had already paid online, tipped the driver and he left. I then discovered my order was inaccurate. The cheesy garlic bread in fact was just the standard garlic bread with no cheese.
Ok, so I call the store, and report the issue to the person answering the phone, she said one moment, let me get you my manager. The manager, who turns out to be the owner, gets on the phone and verifies what I said, and says that it is impossible. I explained again what I ordered, there is a clear price difference, the cheesy garlic bread is more expensive, that's what I paid for, and you sent the standard. He continued to argue with me and fact of the matter was, he did not want to send a delivery driver to fix the issue, but at the same time would not offer a refund of the difference. Short of calling me a liar, he did say he did not believe they sent the wrong thing.
That escalated in to me threatening to drive over there because he still did not believe me, so I did just that. I got in my car, 5 minutes and I'm in the man's face, fling open the bread and said, look no cheese - it's $1 more you crook now give me what I paid for. When confronted in person, he backed off and the gal who I had talked to was standing there looking pretty mortified said I'll get you the right thing, give me 2 minutes. She did it, I took it and left.
I've never seen the owner back up there after that, it is probably a good thing because if he treats his customers like that with regularity, the place will go out of business.
In closing, the pizzas, sandwiches, and anything else I've ordered are really nothing too exciting. The place is a convenience and nothing more. To save money and get the same level of quality food which is pretty much just as tasty, I frequent Little Caesar's more often to...
Read more1 star service but giving 2 because the pizza was still good. I understand there is a policy for IDing people when debit and credit cards are used. But I used a prepaid gift card and was still carded. Now I get that names have to match in order to use the card. But why should someone be ID for using a prepaid gift card. These cards are for children as well. Not everyone has their ID with them. I had mine. I didn't mind giving it to her but was really questioning why she would take my name down. All she said was "your name isn't on this card". Yea it's a prepaid gift card. No gift card in the world is going to have someone's name on it and not everyone is going to have an ID. All I'm saying is keep ID people when using debit and credit cards. I'm sure y'all have deterred alot of theives. But rethink your protocol with gift cards. Especially prepaid gift cards. The situation left me in bad taste. The Indian manager/owner maybe? If you're reading this, you were always cool. But I'm going to have to go to the other location by my...
Read moreI was just told that they would not deliver to my address because it’s to dark and not lit up enough it’s a safety measure for their drivers safety. I for a fact know they don’t care for their drivers safety because my hubby worked for them. They don’t even care if their drivers make enough money the way they have numerous drivers on at night and are unfair with the tipping system and the drivers don’t even get the delivery charge.my hotel in fact is lit up and they have a security guard. That’s very stuck up of shift manger to deny us a delivery when we’re 1.8 miles away and we’re about to order 5 large pizzas some wings breadsticks, deserts, and some 2 liters. Way to go for turning down money and letting me know my address is not good enough to get delivered to. ITS NOT TO DARK here and it’s...
