Overall take: go to Enzo’s, a local owned pizza place across the street from this location. They have customer service! And pizza.
Anyways talk about a location TANKING! We’d been going here for fast food pizza for the last several years and the location has become horrifically understaffed. And the few people who do work there very clearly do not care about customer service and surely are not paid enough to give a crap. I ordered a pizza on the app, went to pick it up when the app said it was ready, and was told that they received a 30 pizza order with no advance warning and my one pizza had not been started and would be pushed to the end of orders. They told me to come back in 15 minutes, I came back in 20, they said my pizza was being boxed up and to do a loop and come back. So I did a loop and came back and a new person told me there was a 30 order pizza and the person was standing in the lobby putting pressure on them so my pizza wasn’t made yet. I waited another 30 minutes in the parking lot and went into the store to pick up my one pizza and the woman wouldn’t acknowledge me. I looked at the screens and didn’t see my order on any of the screens, and I asked the other people in there if they had received their 30 pizza order yet. No one in there had ordered 30 pizzas. In the 15 minutes I stayed in the store, 7 door dashers came in and got orders of 2-10 pizzas. I asked one more time if my pizza was on any of the tickets and the woman walked away saying no. She had no intention to make the pizza.
My best guess is they probably gave my pizza to someone else. My name is generic, it was one singular pizza, and they did not care about one person’s one pizza.
My fault for waiting around so long. I should have cut my losses after half an hour, not an hour and a half after the latest ready time. The pizza wasn’t even showing up on my app anymore.
No one offered to help me, make my pizza, explain what happened, or honestly even address me. There were three workers to the five door dashers waiting to pick up orders and myself in the lobby.
We started going to this location because the papa John’s in Decatur locks their doors when they are behind on orders and I thought that wasn’t good customer service, but actually I would prefer the acknowledgement that they aren’t able to take on the amount of orders with the staff they had and stop taking orders than just .. whatever I experienced today.
So here’s to hoping the dispute on my credit card goes through and I get...
Read moreI see now why this location has really bad reviews. I placed an order with them for delivery and mistakenly put cash. I placed this order at 5:30 and called at 5:32 to inform them of my mistake. She said she could take my payment over the phone but then reneged and said she can't do anything about it since DD already has someone coming to get it. Tried to call doordash driver and explain, there was clearly a language barrier there. Not his fault. Then noticed in the track now link, I could change payment method to card and I paid. I recognize that I messed up to begin with but I did go back and fix it. Or so I thought. The charge is currently pending on my card. The store cancelled my order and didn't even send me an email update letting me know. I checked the tracking again and advised them. Now they are trying to gaslight me and say that DD nor Papa John's charged me which is untrue. I got both a text confirmation AND the charge to show them. Offered no apology and when I tried to contact the store and inquire about it, a member of management kept talking over me and making it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. I offered several times to send her the screenshots and she said "We don't receive emails here." I just wanted to call and be sure I wasn't being charged for an order I was not receiving. I guess if this charge doesn't drop, I will be disputing it with my bank. Crazy how places lack customer...
Read moreMy name is Aj Black. I placed an order at the tucker, ga papa John's around 9:10 pm. They told me wait time would be 45 min, cool. It get to 10:10-15pm I call to check delivery status and get put on a 5 min hold just to hear that "my delivery driver is right here says he came and left" from and employee who's clearly drunk, this guy was so drunk that I know for sure you would be able to see it on camera, while I'm speaking to the drunken employee I hear the delivery driver faintly in the background reiterating that he came and left..but my question is Why? I made sure to ask before I hung up from ordering my food, "how would I check to see the status of my delivery?". The employee told me, "the delivery driver will call you at the number you provided when they arrive"...but no one ever called me, I had to call them just to get more bad service. To conclude, the drunken guy told me to just relax and he will bring it to me, and then proceeded to hang up on me and WHEN I called back, they answered and hung up again....this is so unfortunate and inconvenient for me because now it's 10:30pm with no food, just about everything around here is closes.
