Ensenada Street Food — Restaurant in Tucson

The al pastor and birria are some of the best I've had in town. I can't recommend the carne asada or anything with beans, however. Unfortunately, it's hard to enjoy your food when you sat in an uncomfortable chair for nearly an hour waiting for a few tacos. No matter what time you go and how much food you order, it takes forever for it to come out. I thought street food was supposed to be for quick bites, but that is not the case here. Every single time I've gone, I had to wait over 30 minutes for the food to be ready. It's difficult to eat here with friends because everyone will get their food at vastly different times. They also don't let you order ahead, so you can't just pick it up when it's ready. They'll tell you it will take 15-20 minutes, but expect it to be much much longer.

I love some of the dishes here, but I can't recommend anyone waste that much time waiting for it when there are so many other great places nearby that will have your food out in a reasonable...

The tacos are good, but just not great. The wait time for tacos was 35 minutes. This was very perplexing to me. When the tacos arrived they were hot but still no justification for time waited and only 6 customers in the restaurant. I had carne asada taco. I wish it would be cooked over mesquite; it would help with the oily taste lingering in meat that is cooked using grill top. The quesobarria taco was missing the seasons to make it solid. The broth the meat is used to cook in is good, but has work to be done. The Al pastor was my favorite. Balanced flavor, thin cut meat and good garnishes. I appreciate that all tacos had a great serving portion of meat!

I have been here a couple of times and parking seems be always be a tough. The parking lot does not accommodate for the volume of customers and parking spaces offered (4max). Customers are vetted to across the street lot which is dangerous crossing of the street...

This was HORRIBLE service omg. Me and my husband called and placed an order for pick up .. they said it was going to be a 45-50 min wait which we were totally okay with , I placed order at 6:45 and got there around 7:25 then they told us they were 8 orders behind .. so okay we waited it was fine , we waiting in our car for another 45 mins !! We finally just decided to get off and ask how much longer come to find out they said THEY SOLD OUR ORDER ! So we agreed to wait ten more minutes for them to give us our order then they gave us the WRONG order !! They didn’t even look sorry the lady was just trying to rush us out of the way like if we hadn’t been patient for two hours. We got back to the car and the tacos were COLD !! And remojado (the tortillas were soaked) so we didn’t enjoy our $30 meal that we waited for two hours. I highly do not recommend and was super...
