Our experience at Casa Madre was nothing short of exceptional. This restaurant has been on our long list of places to try for a while. We finally had a date night there this past Saturday and we were impressed. The location is very cool and tucked into a wonderfully historic neighborhood and part of town. Blink and you'll miss it but the look is modern and and subdued. We were a little surprised as to how small the inside of the place was but it made for a very romantic, intimate, and personal experience. Our reservation was at 5pm but with the blackout curtains in the windows you would have never known it was sunlight out. We ordered shrimp appetizer. 11/10. The shrimp was very well done, the bread was perfectly cooked, and the butter was to die for. After we finished the shrimp our waitress brought us another round of bread to help soak up and enjoy the remaining butter. For our entrees I had the 24 oz ribeye and my wife had the tilapia. Both were cooked to perfection. There was a spectrum of flavors for the ribeye and every bight presented something new. I would love to know what the steak was cooked on as it was very flavorful and a perfect medium-rare. Lastly was the service. There were 2 waitresses running the show and although we had our dedicated waitress, both were swapping between tables to ensure everyone was taken care of. I believe our waitress was Tammy (sorry if I got the name wrong!) and I'd also give her a 11/10. Casa Madre has jumped to the top of our very long list of places we've tried. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal with a romantic setting.

We dined here earlier this evening and absolutely loved everything. Chef Dominque Stoller and her husband Morgan have created such an awesome restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire ambiance, the music/vibe, the attentive service and delicious food as well as drinks - the Horchata is amazing and refreshing. The entire staff is incredible and we look forward to coming back soon. We highly recommend this intimate and beautiful restaurant. Please call/book a reservation as seating is limited. Parking was also not an issue for us near the entrance. We most definitely will return to this wonderful gem near downtown. Second visit 9/11/25 My wonderful friend and I had the pleasure of dining here earlier this evening. I had the Uva Limon drink along with a few Mexican Cokes for each of us. We had two appetizers because it was far too difficult in choosing just one. We loved the bacon wrapped dates and the delicious Gambas Al Ajio (shrimp w/butter sauce). For our entrees, I had the pan seared Salmon dish and my companion enjoyed her Chile Relleno meal. Lastly, we shared the pink lemon ice cream with raspberry swirl. Tammy and the entire staff were amazing as always. We absolutely love this extraordinary restaurant and need to visit more frequently.

From the moment we walked in, Casa Madre completely blew me away. The decor is absolutely stunning—every detail is thought out, down to the bathrooms (so beautiful I was hesitant to even use it!). The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and perfect for a memorable night out. The soup of the day is a must-try, no matter what it is. I had the cream of mushroom, and even though I normally don’t care for mushrooms, it was incredible. But the true showstopper of the evening was the Chef’s Board. I have never in my life seen a presentation like this. From the pasta salad to the fresh fruits and exotic cheeses, every bite was perfection. It’s listed as being for two people, but my wife and I couldn’t even finish it. We were so happily full that we skipped entrees altogether. This place is definitely worth coming back to, and we already plan on it. I highly recommend making a reservation, as the dining room is cozy and intimate. If you’re looking for a unique culinary experience with unmatched presentation, Casa Madre is the spot.

Located in an historic building, Casa Madre Restaurant beckons with its savory Latin inspired and Mediterranean cuisine. Owned by a husband and wife team, the restaurant boasts a unique Himalayan salt block wall, and exudes a cozy, intimate, sophisticated ambiance.

Cocktails are served alongside fresh, inventive food cooked by Chef Dominique "Doma" Stoller. Even the most discerning palates will be inspired by her exceptional cooking, which is a tribute to Stoller's lofty culinary standards.

Dig into a Chili Relleno with Cuban black beans and arroz con crema for your main dish. If you're looking for a lighter option, delight in the Tilapia Papillote in parchment, which is topped with limequats. The Ribeye with Roasted Poblano Scalloped Potatoes is the go-to for carnivores.

Be sure to leave room for dessert. The Lemon Ice Box Cake is perfect for the sizzling summer months. The White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie or the Ice Cream Sandwich with Urban Grove date ice cream are also sure bets to indulge your sweet tooth.

Tucson has a lot of restaurants, but this hot newcomer is trending, and is destined to become a local favorite. We will be back when they open their outdoor patio for dining. Reservations are highly recommended due to...
