I went twice before I did thia review just because sometimes when you are really hungry, food can taste better than it normally would if that makes sense. My wife had the carne asada super nachos which she loved, there was soo much more food than chips, we actually made two burritos from her left overs. The kids had plain cheese quesadillas and they smashed, got full and woke up to finish them for breakfast COLD. We also had to chimichangas, one with ground beef the other just bean and cheese, both eaten a day later and absolutely delicious. I had super fries with carne asada, there was nothing left.
The second time which was today, I had a carne asada burrito that was excellent and two tacos, I vould only eat one taco after the burrito. But I think I should note there was soo much food in the taco, I actually made it into a full size burrito. My wife had vege super nachos this time, her and the kids smashed it. Looking forward to eating the remaining taco when I get home tonight, if the fam has not already...
Read moreI went in there yesterday in a great mood started to speak Spanish to the lady told her I was working on my Spanish from that point on it went south. She turned around, gave her order to the cook and said derogatory statements about me thinking I couldn’t hear her or Understand what she was saying. Derogatory statement at me calling me stupid all in Spanish. I tried be as kind as possible after four dollars tip… Her attitude and her addressing me was terrible. Between my wife and I we go there once a month if not more ….. NOT ANYMORE. I’ll tell my friends to be careful if they’re gonna go in there. She used Her first language to degrade me. I knew exactly what she was talking about what she was saying. I’ll continue to tell my friends and other websites...
Read moreAn OK taco shop in wristetown on the east side. I had an Al Pastor taco, which was Ok, but smothered in a rather bland avocado sauce and the tortilla was not good. I also had the green chili taco. Weird for Tucson. It was the closest thing to a Midwestern taco I've had in Tucson. Ground beef and chilies in a hard taco shell will lettuce and American cheese. I have to say it wasn't bad, just weird in Tucson. I'll stop sometime for a breakfast burrito to see if they are any good. All in all, not bad.
A note on my ratings:. 1 star, unacceptable, 2-3 stars, acceptable but nothing especially noteworthy. 4 stars, very high quality dining. 5 stars is reserved for exceptional quality...
