My kids and I got food poisoning when we ate here Monday night.
I wanted to treat the kids to a "dine-in" pizza experience and remembered Grandma Tony's is up the road and this was our first time trying it. We sat in one of their booths and ordered 3 pizzas: 2 small, 1 XL that came with cheese sticks and a 2 liter soda. The order taker was polite and we sat hanging out until the pizzas came out. He then informed us he didnt have cups so we werent able to drink the soda. We all dug in but unfortionately the cheese and moderate amount of toppings kept sliding right off the dough. Every single piece. The little kids were frustrated. The food tasted alright though once we balanced the toppings back on the slices. It was a little more pricey than i had expected too. We left home and got the little kids ready for bed. About a half hour later the teens and I had stomach pain that lasted all night. The next day we all were very sick. The kids recovered about a day later. I'm still so sick i've missed work all week and had to go to urgent care.
Not worth it. Taste was 3 or 4 stars, but the falling off the slice and food poisoning makes it a 1. Won't ever...
Read moreI've been eating the pizza at this location for a while now it's not bad. A little too greasy, and too much cheese in my opinion. Seriously, what they consider to be normal cheese would be extra cheese anywhere else. I can't even imagine what it would be like if you ordered extra cheese here. Make sure to order light cheese if you don't like lots and lots of cheese. The one thing that never fails though is that no one who works here seems to know how to cut a pizza. They like to draw lines in the cheese with a pizza cutter, but no one apparently told them that in order for a pizza cutter to work you have to actually apply pressure with it. It never fails, i take my pizza home and try to eat it, only to realize i cant get a single slice out without tearing the pizza to shreds. Unless you decide to go out and buy a pizza cutter for yourself so you can do their job for them, eating their pizza is a huge...
Read moreOur go-to local pizza place! Prices are fair, especially with some of their daily specials. X-large pickup special is a great deal too. When I order pizza, I'm not trying to be super healthy, but it's nice to see a pepperoni pizza that's not swimming in grease in the box. Staff are always friendly, and I like the fact that they show you the pizza before you take it out the door. Haven't tried their sides (except for the cheesy bread - it's alright, nothing really special), but their pizza is always A+.
Our first time ordering from them, we called for delivery and the guy on the phone straight up told us to save our delivery money since we were so close (new to the area, didn't check the map) - we appreciated his honesty (since I'm sure lots of places would have just gone ahead and delivered), and haven't ordered our pizza from anywhere else...
