From the start all warning signs pointed toward an awful experience. However I’ve always been a fan of IHOP I love pancakes. As I entered with my family there were 3 other parties waiting to be seated. I walked up thinking there would be a sign in sheet...there was not. The Manager came up and said he would clean up some tables and get everyone seated. 10 minutes pass and another party shows up. Still no one has been seated and again no sign in sheet. A greeter arrives and attempts to seat the party who arrived last. They sort it out and now it’s my parties turn to be seated... they come back up and again attempt to seat the party who arrived last. I mention I’ve been waiting and am asked if I was waiting in the seating outside the first door. Not sure why that matters but I mention if they have a sign in sheet the greeter responds “we do but everyone came in at once” kind of rude and also not sure at this point it’s been 20 mins. Thinking maybe they did just get a rush and are catching up I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. We were then taken to a table that was dirty and then ushered to another table. We place our order for drinks then waited for about 20 mins to receive them. One of the coffee cups were still dirty (pointed out by the waitress) she apologized and brought another. We put in our order and I had to pitch the idea that the food will be worth the wait to my family. After 40 mins of waiting and listening to other parties around me complain about their wait and the tables with the parties that came after us get served I decided to let the waitress know we will be leaving. While walking out the manager waived his arms and said “what’s wrong bro? What can I do to fix it?” I then replied “from the craziness trying to get seated to a 45 mins wait (so far) for the food there’s to much to fix and you’ve had your opportunity” As I’m walking out the door he says across the entrance “ your foods In the window”
Again I’m a huge fan of IHOP but will never go back...that was awful and anything that could be bad was. For anyone from IHOP management who may be reading this I want to point out that our waitress Jenaii (not sure if my spelling is correct) was extremely courteous and apologized numerous times during our wait. She point out the cups were dirty and was adamant about making our awful experience a little better. Unlike the manager she noticed our frustration and unrest due to the long wait and tried to amend. However she shouldn’t be apologizing for the incompetence of the team. Thank you Jenaii and to anyone who reads this hopefully the opportunity is seen here. To sum it...
Read moreMyself and two friends arrived around 1:45am. It took over 10min for someone to even notice we were waiting to be seated. The manager came and stated she wanted to give us a heads up they were behind and to please bare with them as our service may take a while. We stated as long as we have coffee we’ll be ok. She seated us. Looking around every table was dirty, needed to be cleaned. There were at least 6-7 different waitresses literally just walking around with head phones on or sitting in the back area that was blocked off.
Other guests were anxiously looking around for their waiters either waiting for their food or waiting for their boxes and checks. We sat for over 20min with no one taking our drink order and we sat with no water or coffee. Finally our waitress comes takes our 3 coffee drink order. Comes back in another 20min, spills one of the coffees on herself. Comes back In another 10 min with our creamer we asked for when we ordered, we asked for our 3rd coffee cup as she spilled that one on herself. In another 10-15 min she comes back so we figured ok let’s put our order in. She was in such a daze she looked around in all her pockets for a note pad. She found a receipt to write our order down with. Long story short... our entire experience we spent over 2.5 hrs there.
Pancakes came without strawberry toppings. All the other waitresses obviously did not want to work and made that very clear. The manager we seen no more then twice . She did not do a very good job rounding these waitresses up to actually serve their guests. And to conclude this experience on our way out to pay we’re pretty sure there was some short guy drug dealer taking orders from the waitresses “talking code” lol Saying he’ll be back with their goods.
Took manager about 15-20 min to come out and take the $2 dollars off for forgetting the strawberry toppings and they stated they don’t give out change so I got $1 back from my ticket. At that point we would have rather paid for it lol. Also noticed 2 dine and dashes as these people seemed highly unsatisfied with their experience. Others sent their food back and left.
Felt bad when our waitress spilled coffee on herself and we didn’t give them a hard time or complain BUT WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE BACK. At some point our waitress even took a bow when she thanked us for being patient. Couldn’t help but crack up. FIRST TIME EVER AT THIS LOCATION. We’ll be going to...
Read moreFirst off I want to mention that my fiance & I dine here quite often & have never had any issues. This has been the only issue. We left church & I was craving something to eat & neither of us wanted to cook so we decided to stop here for dinner. We were promptly greeted & seated by a very nice lady named Juli. She took our drink & food orders in a timely manner. I ordered the T-Bone steak with a side of mashed potatoes & mac & cheese. Food was delivered at a reasonable time & no delays. The issue arises with the steak. I normally eat my steak rare & requested so. As soon as my dish was placed down I was immediately turned off by the steak. It looked raw, not rare. Like it had just been taken out of the freezer, thrown on the grill for a few minutes & then put on my plate & delivered. It was very watery. Very little blood & the fat absorbed most of it. The steak looked very unappetizing & to be frank, disgusting. As soon as the server walked away I looked at my fiance & said "This looks disgusting". Looks as if it had no seasoning applied. I cut a slit down the middle of the steak and the inside was so raw that it legitimately looked like it never touched the flat top. I cook steaks all the time & this disgusted me. To add on the fact that someone deemed it ok to be served. Our server had stepped outside to smoke so I had no choice but to wait. In the meantime my fiance's plate looked delicious & well made. (Chicken & Waffles). When our server came back in I brought up my concern regarding the steak & she promptly offered to replace the steak for something else. I opted for one of their burger choices (which when arrived was very delicious & cooked perfectly). When she walked to the kitchen to tell the chef of the issue, he came out to see what was wrong. I explained my issue with the steak & showed the condition of it. He looked very irritated & offended that I could talk bad about something he made. He made some snarky comments that I can't remember but left & returned with my burger & took the steak back. Mashed potatoes were very starchy & had the texture of dough.. Wasn't appetizing. Besides the chef's passive aggressive attitude towards me when I was voicing my concerns, everything else was good. Mac & cheese was delicious & I do recommend that. I've uploaded a photo of what the steak looks like on the menu & what I received. You...
