Lucky Wishbone — Restaurant in Tucson

UPDATE......Decided the other day to give them another shot. BIG MISTAKE......My GF and I were trying to place an order on fri or Saturday and the kid taking the order was extremely rude. We wanted a family sized half chicken finger half shrimp. He repeated it back to me saying steak fingers. I said no,half chicken fingers half shrimp. He said ok,all steak fingers? 🤬 At this point I'm getting aggravated. He finally said ok,half chicken fingers ,half shrimp. I said yes! Thank u! Then he says and one family size steak fingers? I said NOOOOO! I never even mentioned a steak finger. Ever. I dont like those. Finally I just hung up. Decided to call back and try again because we really wanted your food. I called back and asked for a manager. Was told manager was on vacation for 2 weeks. I explained the confusion and asked for a discount. I was laughed at and told that's not possible. That only aggravated me more. Needless to say,we aren't happy and are very disappointed. We are loyal customers of 20 yrs and never imagined we'd be so embarrassed and treated so rudely.

The last 2 times I've been disappointed,and I've been here at least 30 times in the past 15 years. The toast has been burned, and the fries portion has drastically dropped in the Family size option. I let it go and figured it was a mistake. I went again today and got the pop size chicken finger meal. Fries were soggy,toast was burned, and the chicken had no taste. I had to add salt and paprika. Sadly I may not be going back. FEB 2022....tried again and was pleased. The chicken fingers were great no soggy fries and no burnt toast. We got the family size and had zero complaints. The owner reached out to me about my previous negative reviews and wasn't happy. But I have an opinion and I'll voice it. Just like now I can see the improvements he's made and I will be going back...

Two young guys were working ,one guy with black hair I believe he was training the other one while he worked the counter and helped the new guy on the fryer ..this young man stayed professional and patient , ..I heard him explaining about changing the grease as he opens up the fryer to show the new guy , the trainer I observed that he took pride ,and took his time explaining , despite the lobby starting to build with customers , .I personally like crispy chicken and the chicken came out perfect !! The fries were different , they were big crinkle fries seasoned just perfect , ( I kind of like my fries a little more cooked than the norm and man ! These two fellas made my entire meal perfect ! I enjoy purchasing a large family chicken cause I like to take for lunch the next day and have enough for the following days dinner . The way this meal was prepared , and seasoned it didn't even taste one day old to me ! It stayed crispy which I love and was not dried at all ! I didn't get their names . I have loved wishbone since I was a kid, however I will not be going back to this location! I simply asked for a drink half Sprite half black cherry, one of their signature drinks that's why I love them so much. The kid at the register told me they're not allowed to do that with an attitude and said he would get in trouble. This very strange to me he said he'd have to charge me for 2???? I'm hoping this is just a misunderstanding on his behalf and not a new policy by Lucky wishbone. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE FROM ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS!!!🤦🙄 PS I ordered a ranch( in edition to wishbone sauce). And they just gave me 2 ranches. Corporate get a hold of this...
