I had a very serious issue occur while visiting this McDonalds store, involving my special needs daughter. My perception of one of the staff member’s behavior was that “they” were mocking her. I expressed my disenchantment (anger and disgust) via this review forum as well as a local community chat forum. As a result of my post(s), word got out on the street very quickly, VERY QUICKLY! I was contacted via another chat forum and was encouraged to contact store leadership. After I cooled off, I called and spoke to the store manager. Her name was Lori. I was greeted on the phone by her saying, “I am so glad you called! We have been scrambling trying to figure out what happened. We take this very seriously and we want to clearly understand how this happened”. I am not going to share any specifics of our conversation but I will tell you that that Lori sincerely wanted to understand the issue, not from a store manager’s point of view (well… of course she did… it was part of her job), but from a parent’s point of view. To say that I was IMPRESSED with Lori’s commitment to identifying and clearly understanding what caused me to feel the way I did, is an understatement! Read moreJust had the most disrespectful moment from this McDonald’s, I come every morning and deal with the same people. Today my order didn’t pop up and some rude lady took it upon herself to be nasty for no reason and give me attitude. Instead of listening she over talked me and had another lady come up and explain what I was trying to tell her. I love this McDonald’s but that staff was wrong and the experience was disgusting. I feel bad for the young African American lady that work there, because she & the sweet older woman normal gives me my order and I never had an issue. She was literally caught in the crossfire of the exchange and stood there helpless because they were over talking her as well. I will be filing a formal complaint with McDonald’s on about this incident. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. Read moreWhen I walked in to meet friends, they had an employee helping them with the order on the " Customer do it yourself" screen...after a minute or less, the employee said, oh I have to go and he walked away! A female came over and had to correct the order, there was too much ordered. (Honestly, I don't think he knew what he was doing) I wanted mayo, lettuce and pickles on MY cheeseburger..when we finally got our order and unwrapped our food, my cheeseburger had catsup and cheese! So I gave them to my friend and started on my fries...OMG! I think the cap on the salt shaker came off!!! I couldn't taste the fry for the ton of salt!!! The only thing I could tolerate was the Coke...I feel SO bad that my friends paid for lunch and I couldn't eat it...it's a real shame that the customer even has to order their own food on a screen that's difficult for lots of people.
