IMPORTANT NOTE: All reviews older than March of 2022 are for an old business that used to occupy this location and are invalid reviews for "Nattha's Bann Thai Asian." The previous business was a Chinese restaurant, "Peking Palace Restaurant," and the new owners took over the location in March. Until Yelp corrects this, I suggest sorting the reviews by "Recent" first.
Delicious! Worth. Every. Penny.
I had some of the best hot & sour soup ever. Definitely has a bit of a kick to it. Didn't make my nose run, but there was a nice kick to it. And PACKED with egg, bamboo, mushrooms, and tofu. It has a bit of a sweet tang to it.
The yellow curry was fabulous! So tasty! I had it with beef and the beef was so tender.
The moo goo gai pan was delicious.
I've found an excellent, 5 star, Asian restaurant on the east side. Finally.
5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away...
Read moreThis was such a nice find after a day of driving around. The staff was very nice and the food tasted amazing.
I got the Basil Thai fried rice at a level 3/medium (since i know thai cuisine doesn't mess around with spice) and it was such a nice spice to eat. It got hotter as you ate more, but wasnt so over the top where you couldnt eat it. If you are a spice fanatic i bet you would love the food and maybe a spicer level. I think next time i will try a 4 (its out of 5). Also the fried rice came with an over easy egg on top and ive never had a place do that but it was so good and mixed well with the dish afterwards.
My partner ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and they liked how they put the peanuts on the corner of the dish so you could put it on as you ate.
Overall, we had a great time and if you are ever around Park Place or the nearby shopping outlets, this is a good spot to grab a bite to eat afterwards. Just a warning though they give a LOT of food so i wouldn't be surprised if you have leftovers!!
10/10 restaurant and great food for the price! Please treat the staff well if you decide to come as...
Read moreAfter a hike in Sabino I was in the mood for a tender smoked turkey sandwich on fresh garlicky bread role from Brushfire. Hadn’t been to Brushfire in a few months. I arrive… no lights, no cars… “Available” signs in the windows. Oops. What about the other location? Also closed. Too bad… Well, I’m still hungry… what else is around? I remembered an Asian restaurant had replaced Peking Palace, so decided to give Nattha’s Bann Thai a try.
Restaurant was clean and peaceful, a few other diners, a mellow place for lunch. The lunch specials menu is predominately classic Chinese dishes with a couple of Thai recipes. I ordered the Stir Fry Fresh Ginger Chicken. It was definitely fresh ginger, lots of succulent white chicken meat, onions, green onions and mushrooms — all very good. Service kind...
