Iāve been a loyal Peter Piper Pizza customer for decades, but my experience at the Valencia location was by far the worst. From the moment we ordered, the staff failed at basic communication/ customer service, and the assistant manager (Brienda) was outright rude and unprofessional.
What Went Wrong: False Advertising ā Sold a Product They Didnāt Have
Multiple employees (including Brienda) acknowledged the issue but did nothing to fix it or offer alternatives.
Assistant Manager Refused a Simple Refund of 1 softdrink. She was condescending, dismissive, and even yelled out the situation in front of other customers as we left.
Dirty Dining Area & Poor Management
Tables initially looked clean but were greasy, with visible cheese and fingerprintsādespite the restaurant being nearly empty.
Staff seemed unmotivated and unguided, likely because of poor leadership.
Final Thoughts: This wasnāt about the $2āit was about principle. A good business doesnāt charge for products they canāt provide and trains staff to handle issues professionally. Briendaās attitude alone makes me never want to return to this location.
Food Note: The food not up to par didnāt taste as good as other Peter Piper locations.
Advice to Management: Train staff to communicate outages (a simple "Diet Pepsi is out, is another drink okay?" wouldāve sufficed).
Retrain or replace the assistant managerāsomeone who yells out customer's business to the whole lobby and refuses $2 refunds shouldnāt be in charge.
Clean the dining areaābasic hygiene matters.
Ordered pizza and wings and a 2 diet Pepsi"s. They rang us up and we paid. They gave my wife 2 cups when she went to get diet coke the soda machine was out diet pepesi, we talked to an employee there and he said they had to change the syrup or something but never did, then we mentioned it to a female employee there and she said they had to switch out and went to the bathroom. We sat down and decided to wait since our order was not up yet. We waited approximately 25-30 minutes and when they finally called our order we went back to the Soda machines to top off our diet Pepsi, my wife had filled my cup with sprite in the meantime but it was nasty so when they called our order I decided to go up and top off my diet soda but it was still not working. I asked the guy at the register if they were going to switch out the syrup since we had been waiting for it and that is what we requested when we ordered before paying and then the guys said he didn't know how to replace it. He then advised the assistant manager who was super rude and condecending. I explained that we had ordered 2 diet cokes and we talked to several employees and have waited about 25-30 but no one had replaced the syrup, she said "oh the diet coke is probably out or something". So I said ok that's fine. I would like a refund on my softdrink because I only drink diet pepsi or diet coke and that is what we ordered when we paid and no one advised us that the machine was not working. Not to mention it's over 100 degrees outside and we had been waiting all this time. The Assistant manager stated that she was not going to refund me because I had filled up my cup with sprite eventhoug it was filled up all the way to the top. I told her my wife filled it up with sprite because the diet pepsi was out. I asked "do you think that is right?" her name tag was hanging vertically instead of horizontally she was unprofessional before we walked out of the store she started yelling telling the other employees "she wasn't going to refund them... so loud that I heard it all the way at the door as I was exeting, meaning everyone in the lobby could hear her. The assistant Manager's Name is Brienda I belive. When I asked to speak with the General Manager she stated "your looking at her". I responded your name tag says your the assistant manager not the general manager. She answered "oh...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is no point in speaking to the owner/ supervisors by email or by phone. They will not resolve the issue nor honor their discount cards sold by public schools. I have notified the people who list Peter Pipper Pizza on the school fundraising cards about the situation. Hopefully they can remove this franchise and put another franchise more honorable than Peter Piper Pizza and their staff. It was very degrading to buy pizza at this establishment and being humiliated by the staff who states that they don't have to honor anything we purchased for fundraisers. I will not be coming back nor will my family and friends to any Peter Piper Pizza nor Chucky Cheese establishment. I have a higher respect for Little Ceasars, Papa John's and Pizza Hut because they honor their discount cards and never make the customer feel ignorant.
