Careful this place might be scamming you - I walked in and I was the only customer there. the chief asked what I wanted and I said 2 carne asada burritos and the cashier lady was there listening to my order typing it in the register.I know I said it clearly because I saw the chief but 2 tortillas on the stove top. The cashier then said my total is about $20 and keep in mind the burritos run at about $6 each. The total didn't seem right so I look at her and say two burritos and then look at the menu to check the price. She is still standing there waiting for me to pay and I repeat again " are you sure its for 2 burritos?" and she looks as me and says " so you want 2 burritos not 3?" and I was confused as to why she would think I want 3 burritos if this whole time I have been saying 2. She then gets this attitude with me does not seem to care or show some sort of apology for the mistake and gives me the correct amount which is about $14. I told my friends about it and they seem to have the same issue at this place. I've been coming here for a few months now and its the same lady every morning so you think she knows the prices by now and everytime I go there its no more than 3 customers so its definitely not a busy place. The only reason why I keep going back is because the burritos are absolutely delicious. The chief is very friendly and goes out of his way to make sure your satisfied with the order.
One more thing check the salsa before you leave I once got the salsas all frozen which makes me think they save it from...
Read morePoor customer service. I order the carne asada burro with the pico de gallo and guacamole on the side. I got a small serving of both which was not sufficient for a burro. When I questioned this I got attitude from a young light skin kid and two other gentlemen who were there. I dropped my Pico de gallo on the pavement by accident, the light skin gentleman young kid told me it's on the ground pick it up It's closed. Ultimately the cook gave me two more. I ordered three rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese as well. They were soft to the touch, not even crispy and the carne asada was less than favorable full of fat and gristle. Not going back. Go to the Viva on St Mary's MUCH BETTER
Look back at the reviews for this place. Terrible!!!! All same thing poor customer service, bland tasteless food!!! When will the owners make changes or move out so we can get something good here to add to the already awesome restaurants here on the south side!
My bad, gave this place a second chance. I ordered a carnitas burrito. I got to the the window My order was $9.23. I handed the employee a $20 bill. He says do you have the $0.23? I don't have change then came back and said oh sorry it's actually $9.77. I grabbed my 20 and left! This was...
Read moreI have ordered twice on two different occasions and both times they got my order wrong. This time it was really bad. Now I'm sick.
Today I ordered two beef burritos (rice, beans, beef and salsa). The clerk and cook were very engaged in chatter. The clerk forgot what I ordered and I ordered again in between their chatter. The clerk asked me, "beef?" and I confirmed (for the third time).
Once home and hungry, I began eating one of the burritos. I noticed potato, some filler substance that was not rice and little beef. Confused I tried to figure it out. And then I realized I was eating eggs. I'm allergic to eggs and do my best to avoid. I immediately took an allergy pill, but I'm still suffering from the cramps and diarrhea. I can't even leave the house to return the one burrito and what remained from the first.
I didn't order a breakfast burrito at all. She got it wrong because she was not listening to me at all.
The previous time I ordered two chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, not the combo. Instead, I got the combo with cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The staff at this location all appear to have ADD. Their primary attention is focused entirely on themselves that I felt I was just a passing event,...
