Just tonight, January 3, 2017, about 20 minutes ago, 10:35 PM, I pulled up to the restaurant and the door was locked. The time decal that was affixed to the door clearly stated that it was open until 11:00 PM. The young lady (employee) inside was sweeping the floor and chatting with a customer. She saw me through the glass and did not ignore me, but instead just yelled, "the drive-thru is open". I pointed to the time decal on the glass entry door and the employee just continued to yell from across the restaurant through the closed and locked door, "we closed at 10:30". I again pointed at the time decal on the front door, which states 11:00 PM, and she continued to iterate, this time with motion, that "the drive-thru is open" and "that the dining room closes at 10:30". Needless to say, I did not enjoy any food from this restaurant.
I rarely go to Popeyes. I prefer Churches myself. However, experiences like these reset the clock on me going into Popeyes for another year or so.
I think I am more upset that the employee had the audacity to convey to me that the dining room was closed and that the drive-thru was open by yelling at me across the dining room through a closed door, instead of providing me the decent courtesy of opening the door and talking to me like a human being, all while a customer was inside the restaurant.
Manager/Owner: As you read this, I can almost expect that you will make corrections to the time decal on the glass entry door. And, I can almost expect that there will be some coaching that will be given to the young lady who was providing me great customer service (sarcasm) that evening. I hope you can make this right - correct the time shown on the door to reflect the actual hours the restaurant is open (and/or some quality coaching for the awesome employee). I am not asking for any free food; I have no desire to make a complaint to the BBB or call the health board. Sometimes good ol' fashioned customer service just means...
   Read moreI will never go to this Popeyeâs location ever again! I went tonight, ordered online and picked up in store. When I walked in not one worker greated me or even looked at me! I stood at the register for over 5 minutes before someone barely asked me why I was there. While I told the girl who I was picking up for, she interrupted me to give someone else their order. I had to repeat myself 3 times before she finally paid enough attention to go see where my order was. It wasnât even started yet. Then some punk kid in the back with the stupidest braids Iâve ever seen on someone started cussing out the girl taking drive thru orders. They cussed each other for about 10 minutes, completely ignoring the little manager when she told them to stop. The kid with the braids then went on his phone for a few minutes coming back and slammed grates on the line as loud as he could. I had to wait longer for the strawberry biscuits I ordered which is fine I understood. The two workers continued to cuss under their breath. As another worker was bagging up my food the manager proceeded to lock me in the building and when I tried to leave out the door I came in she said I had to walk out the other door and walk around the building to my car. She didnât have the decency to open the door for me every though they werenât going to close for another half an hour! This location is always gross looking and feeling. They are always so rude here and donât care about their customers it seems. I have worked in the food industry and no place I have ever worked has allowed this kind of disrespectful attitude. I would have been fired instantly if I spoke on the line like these workers did. I canât wait for the new location on grant to open up so I never have to come to this...
   Read moreI'm a regular, or as of now, I WAS a regular at the 22nd and Kolb location, recently my mobile orders are ALWAYS wrong. Tonight was the last straw for me especially since the manager MELISSA doesn't care at all that they have been screwing up my orders almost DAILY. Tonight she training noobs ok I get that, but she hasn't been training daily for the past little over a month. I ORDERED ghost pepper wings, that's a SAUCELESS wing, I got wings that was tossed in some sauce that looked and smelled like vomit to me. When I do get sauce I ONLY EVER eat bar b que sauce period. I have the SAME order almost daily the only thing I change from time to time is a mango lemonade to a strawberry one, and sometimes a biscuit sometimes not. TODD, Who took my orders forever is no longer with them and it's sad because he new my order by heart when I pulled up to the speaker he knew my voice. This new management team sucks, they don't really care. I did the math and will be HAPPY to provide receipts, my family spends on avaverage around $380.00 at THIS particular popeyes a MONTH. Well we did, I will no longer patron this location, all because I was made to feel like my orders not being properly filled didnt matter to manager Melissa.. Side note yeah she replaced the messed up food, but my sides are now cold and my drink gone cause I coupdnt wait as it was a frozen drink so what's the point.....no offer of, oh let me make EVERYTHING fresh for you, again because She doesn't care.
