Taco Bell — Restaurant in Tucson

We used the digital ordering pad to place our order. We were happy to see all of the new veggie options. My husband ordered a veggie combo and I ordered a Chalupa combo with ground beef and a soft taco. I selected light lettuce as well. The employees seemed to avoid the front counter as much as possible we barely saw anyone. They don't have any actual booths anymore just tables with hard chairs or stools and a row of wood backed half both half table combos. So the seating isn't very comfortable. My chalupas were made with the wrong meat. They did fix them when asked, though I did have to wait a while for someone to come to the counter. You can't use the bathroom with out a code and my husband had to go when we go there. He had to wait until we ordered and got our drinks before he could ask someone for the code because no one was at the registers until then. Both my husband and my chalupas were cold and hard, the meat in mine was atleast hot but my husband's beans were a bit cold. I get that places are short staffed and workers are stressed. The flavor was good for all of the food, the ingredients mostly seemed fresh, the place was relatively clean and the staff were nice enough when available, which is why I still...

Food - The food was pretty good, 2 items were switched from what we wanted, and a vegetarian meal had meat in it. But overall it was pretty good and a little overpriced.

Service - The service left a lot to be desired. We tried to order on the kiosk but it wouldn't work, so we went to the counter....and waited...and waited for about 7 minutes and then ordered and the worker was very snippy. Then the very worst part of the experience I was in the restroom waiting for someone to be finished and a worker came out, walked right past me out of the bathroom and back into the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting.

Atmosphere - It was your average taco bell. With the addition of a bad smell and worse customers, two customers were having a screaming match and another couple had a crying baby they were doing nothing about. It also looked very dirty inside, not clean tables, dirt on windows...

I can't with these people. I bought an enchirrito and there's no knives available. The available plastic forks are too flimsy for this piece of food.

I already had to wait for someone at the counter to get the bathroom code. 10 minutes. Then placed an order at the kiosk with my dirty hands. Then wait another 10 minutes for my order to be ready, just to then get the person placing at the counter to give me the bathroom code to wash my hands. And i have to wait at the counter minutes on end for refills? Why is it so much trouble to eat in the lobby? Just don't even have a lobby seems like a better fix.
