My visit was terrible and very unprofessional. I pulled to the drive-thru window and was first met with no greeting at all or anything at the menu but I just ordered my 20 oz banana boat 6 to 7 dollars and substituted spinach for the protein, I get to the window and was told the total was $9.11. I asked why so much and was told the spinach was extra since it's not a fruit they don't substitute it. I explained that if there's an extra charge you normally tell the customer at the speaker. Most locations don't charge so just a suggestion for next time because some customers are from out of town. She did take off the charge and gave me my smoothie but as I pulled off I noticed she didn't give me a receipt after payment. I also tried my smoothie and she added way to much water and ice to where the smoothie was more of water down, slush drink than a fruit smoothie. I walked in and the cashier seemed annoyed and had an attitude about remaking the smoothie. I then asked about the receipt and immediately she walks over to the trash behind the counter and starts digging through it to find my receipt and as I'm typing this this young lady didn't even "wash her hands" before making and finishing other smoothies. After about a minute she tells me thati can just go on Google to leave a review which if this never happened I wouldn't have left one but I asked why would she just throw it away and she replied that it was a standard there that they throw the receipts away which is why she couldn't find mine since she was just throwing hundreds of receipts away. She also had her cellphone visible right by her register which means she doesn't really pay attention at times. After hearing this standard I asked for the manager which she stormed in the back to go and get. While in the back I could hear her arguing about the situation instead of just fixing the situation. The GM comes out and I ask what did the cashier tell you about the situation and she replies that "You wanted a remake of the smoothie after you were told that it doesn't come with spinach and there was an extra charge for it" Which I said wasn't incorrect. The smoothie was watered down and I wasn't given a receipt. I was told by your employee that it's standard to just throw away a customer's receipt which doesn't make sense and that the smoothie I was charge extra for I simply let her know that every customer is not from Tucson so before just adding an extra charge to make sure you let the customer know there is an extra fee for that and this is how much that is. The GM also seemed annoyed and to take the cashiers side as I was cut off multiple times of trying let her know about her digging in the trash and such, which it seems almost as if she just didn't care. She did finally print a new receipt but it's as if she could careless about customers returning because there was no our apologies or I hope you gives another try, please come back and I hope we can give you a better experience next time. The GMs response only response was okay I will talk to my cashier about it, have a good day. Very...
Read moreWe stopped in to Smoothie King a little before 8pm. The place seemed clean, though some of the lights were off or out so it was a little more dimly lit than expected. The red and white decor was nice. The gal working the register was friendly and helpful. My husband is a talker and asks people what their favorites are and she answered his questions politely. The other guy working was cleaning or stocking or something but seemed like he enjoyed his job less or just didn't want to interact. He did seem to be keeping busy though. There is an overwhelming amount of options but I love that they have dairy free options and plant based sweeteners. I'm very indecisive and the gal was very patient waiting for me to decide what to order. In the end I had a slim angel food with Greek yogurt added and my husband ordered the banana boat. Their small is 20oz which is plenty, so totally worth the prices. They have chocolate covered almonds and cashews, dried fruit, yogurt covered pretzels and protein bars available and at reasonable prices. We got a couple of these but haven't tried them yet. The smoothies were both Berry tasty. The Banana Boat actually ended up being my fav of the two. It has a strong but not overly sweet banana flavor. My husband really liked my Angel food smoothie too. The pear juice flavor really shines. The smoothies are thick and not at all chunky or watered down, which is awesome! I am impressed and we will def go back when...
Read moreI love this place, blueberry heaven is my favorite. However, I'm giving 3 stars because I ordered a peanut butter smoothie with all kinds of other stuff in it and it was so gross, I took one drink and barf! To me it was just way too peanut buttery, and for $8 or more for a smoothie, which I'm sure is waaaaaaaay marked up, when I called the store to ask if I coughs bring it back and get another one, I was told yes, then I go there and they tell me NO. They could see the smoothie was still full and I live like 2 minutes from there so I was right there to bring it back. When I got there I was treated not very good and I ended up leaving the smoothie on the counter and drive thru to get myself the blueberry heaven I love. Then I called corporate and I had to leave a message, I did TWICE, the woman finally called me back, like 4 it 5 days later, I explained to her the issue and she didn't really care. Oh well, 3 stars for the absolute worst customer service that day. I used to spend $50 a week there, they were what I lived on for a few months, you would think they'd be appreciative but nope. I'm totally into customer service and ESPECIALLY if customer thought the food item they got was gross, most places replace it. Smoothie king, thank you for forcing me to create my own blueberry heaven smoothie, I still drive thru, but only on Friday's now since you sell them for 5bucks on...
