Unbelievable wait! I paid for my food at the drive thru window at 9:15pm local, I was asked to pull forward as they were waiting on my tenders. I pulled forward without hesitation. Five minutes go by and start looking around wondering what was going on. At the 7 minute mark a second car pulls up next to me to wait for their food. I continue to wait. 9:25pm, 10 minutes have now gone by since I paid for the food I ordered but yet to receive. At this point I am becoming increasingly curious to the status of my food. I also wondered if they were only "waiting for my tenders ", was my other food already packaged getting cold ?? (Stay tuned for that answer) 9:27pm, the car that was two cars behind me actually drove by after receiving their order from the window. I can now see the car next to me getting restless. At this point I am no longer curious, I am extremely annoyed and borderline angry. 9:30pm, 15 minutes after I Paid for my food, someone walks out with several bags. He stands at my window scrambling for a receipt to confirm the order. He says NOTHING and hands me a messy bag. I ask him, "what happened in there?" He replies, "oh, we were busy." Never did he acknowledge my wait or express any level of empathy for a 15 minute wait. Now that I have my food, of course I check the bag for all the contents and snag a French fry along the way. Now, Going back to my question above regarding my food already being packaged and getting cold. Yes, most definitely it was. Cold fries but hot tenders. At least they didn't lie about waiting on the tenders. Fast forward to looking for ketchup for the fries. NOPE. Every sauce you can think of in the bag, but no ketchup. Bottom line, worst experience at this place. Unfortunately, the chicken is too good to pass up a return visit to give this place another chance. Please fix...
Read moreIf there was a 0 star, I would have given this place a ZERO star. The worst experience with Popeyes because the poorly performed manager. We walked in in the afternoon on Aug 10 around 4 o'clock to redeem our TMobile Tuesday free chicken items. For some reasons, the Popeyes App did not like the redeem codes from TMobile Tuseday which was a glitch that happened once in awhile. We talked to the manager, a short round lady, who was denying to accommodate and blaming on TMobile App's fault. She told us to contact Popeyes' headquarter office (how ridiculous in their Popeyes restaurant but have to contact Popeyes) and kept saying that she cannot (which is a lie, more like she did not want to) put into the redeem codes into their computer system. We told her that we were going to leave a bad review for her restaurant. She stared at us with a hostilely look and then replied "thank you" (more like F$%& off my place). We were very upset and shocked how the hospitality became this way. We went ahead to find another Popeyes' facility and showed the manager the glitch between two Apps. The manager was calm and understood the problem. She honored their offers and gave us the meals. What a entire different outcomes between two different managers. Poor managers lead unhappy employees and upset customers. I would have to say this poorly performed manager is the company's liability and has to be either re-trained or gone or she is going to give Popeyes more bad names...
Read more11/17/2021 SO SINCE MY LAST VISIT WHICH FOLLOWS THIS.. too bad I can't give 0 stars that's just what they deserve. I went to the popeye's in Tucson on Park ave.I placed an order for 2 chicken sandwiches sauce on the side and a 5 piece for 2 dinner meal. Since my last horrible experience I decided to order the fresh chicken and wait for 12 minutes like I was told I went into the store at 4:58( on the receipt) I was not done with popeye's until 545. And then to add insult to injury the order was not complete And this was after speaking to 2 or 3 out of the 6 managers that were on site at the time. I was not offered a sm soda or an extra chicken leg for my inconvenience or all of the food that I ordered and payed for I would not be leaving this review . Yes the order was not complete. I am so disgusted I am throwing this food out.I will be forwarding this to Corporate (I know it doesn't matter but it's the principal. Popeye's has service and the quality of their food has definitely gone down hill in the past year. I ordered a 2pc leg and breast.so I know I'd pay extra. ... I will never order a chicken breast it was sooooo dry. I basically had a 1 pc. It was inedible... I won't make that...
