I've had mixed experiences here with my most recent one being the poorest. The menu is HUGE! There are tons of amazing options but it can be overwhelming to make a choice. On my various trips I've had: culichi enchiladas, homerun! (Shrimp and pablano sauce) Taco Giro combination plate. Very good. Enchilada and tamal were my favorite Molcajete mixto: a heated stone bowl filled with nopalitos, shrimp, chicken, beef, avocado, peppers and queso fresco. Plates of tortillas beans, rice and condiments on the side. I've seen the molcajete come out to other customers on other visits and it usually comes out sizzling like fajitas do but this one didn't. This was my first experience with a molcajete and the food on top was beautifully presented but I didn't realize all the sauce was in the bottom for a while and that left me with the impression the food was bland. That wasn't my issue with the visit though. It was our server. She was not attentive or friendly and left me with the distinct impression she didn't care to pay much attention to us. Drinks weren't checked on. She kept staring at her watch while at our table. Came very fast at the beginning and tried to take our order moment after we were seated then was difficult to find for most of the visit when we wanted more napkins or when we were ready for carry out container and our check. I asked if she would please put the remaining food from the molcajete into the container for me because the base was hot and I was wearing nice clothes. She stated they don't pack leftovers since Covid. I find that hard to believe since there is no more risk to it than clearing the table. She gave the impression of not wanting to be helpful the entire visit. I was and always am friendly and so was my party. I don't treat waitstaff poorly but she was a disappointment. We will be back because we like the atmosphere and food. Hopefully if she is our server again she's having a better day.

Pro Tips: -Get an Agua Fresca or beer, it’s a must have to complete the experience -Bring a Spanish speaking frequent, service will be better lol -Go for the combination plate, best way to get a taste of every element. Lets you know what you want next time. At first this seems like a typical local restaurant that serves mexican food. However, the scale of the menu is massive and the quality of food is highly competitive given the options available. You are guaranteed to find something you like and will enjoy. Even the unlimited complimentary chips and salsa are so good that you might accidentally eat your way to a full stomach without even ordering. The Horchata at this place is also 🔥 🔥. Definitely, give it a try.

Arrived Sunday around 4pm and were seated right away. A group of 7, we had drinks, chips and salsa served quickly. They have a salsa that seems to be mixed lightly with beans and it was really good - think I could've eaten just that and been satisfied. We ordered chile relleno, enchiladas, vegetarian fajitas, street tacos, shrimp tacos along with Pacificos and magarita. Well plated and portioned and tasty. It was a tad bit pricier than other local Mexican restaurants but the service was excellent. Our waitress, Paulina, was on point, attentive and friendly. The place reminds me of the Guadalajara Original Grill on Prince.

OMG Hands down the best service in Tucson with beautiful, charming and courteous waitresses who are moving quickly at all times earning their tips. Bottomless free salsa and chips makes it my new favorite Mexican eatery with no qualms! Sorry Little Mexico, Molina's on Speedway and Mi Nidito (respectfully) The food is deliciously authentic, different in an innovated way along with the ambience and decor featuring 2 jumbo flat screens with sports on and beers flowing off the tap to order, much like being part sports bar and grill YET upper scale sit down. Prices are not too high between $9.75 - $16 being average but well worth every dime, with huge portions. This relatively new franchcise already has a strong reputation as the best Micheladas in town but their food is what makes this hot spot a must. The 2 locations I like are on W. Valencia near Westover and the Menlo Park store which is my favorite even though I live blocks from the other location. Popular for Micheladas and mariscos cocktail "El Maleficio" which is served with overflowing with all fresh seafood and comes in a huge glass. Excellent dining experience with a very laid back convivial atmosphere where all the diners are heard conversating freely with other tables and laughter often exchanged. I loved it since the second I entered thru the doors...."I felt like I was at a relatives house at a family reunion of sorts" Outstanding staff that speak English and Spanish and never seem to get tired and have smiles...

It used to be good food there, however, the last two times have been a horrible experience. The last time we were there before last night our server brought us all the wrong food he forgot to get some of our food I reordered some tostadas and they were stale it tasted horrible. Then last night I asked for the dish ceviche that was probably the best dish I had. I had asked for a small bowl of Caldo de queso and I could not believe that they challenge my intellectual. The girl brought me the vegetable soup and I informed her that was not what I had ordered within minutes she returned with a bowl of the broth that smell fishy cut up squares of the white cheese and one little potato. I'm not sure who they were trying to fool other than themselves but I know they were out of that I would appreciate it and would have rather they told me they were out then try and pull something like that it was horrible. So we attempted another chance needless to say we will not be going there again when they first opened it was great food great service but since then it has been diminishing. I forgot to mention the first time manager did not charge , mama last night she did not even direct a word to us she was right in front of us at the register as we were leaving . well I'm sorry ma'am you were upset about...
