As I sauntered into Barista del Barrio, a quaint jewel nestled in the heart of Tucson, Arizona, my senses were catapulted into a whirlwind of culinary delight. This isn't just a cafe; it's a stage where the art of breakfast burritos performs a ballet of flavors. Speaking of ballet, it reminded me of that time I tried to pirouette and ended up knocking over a vase. But I digress.

The tamale-in-burrito option flirted with my appetite, a tantalizing dance of 'will-they-won't-they.' Though I didn't succumb to its charm this time, it's etched in my mind for a future rendezvous. The drama! The excitement! A culinary cliffhanger, if you will.

And then, the pièce de résistance - the breakfast burrito. Oh, it’s not merely a burrito; it's a gastronomic illusionist! What appeared to be one burrito was, in fact, two, cheekily masquerading as a singular entity. Much like that time I bought a pair of socks and found a third one hidden within - a delightful surprise!

My sister, a connoisseur of the unconventional, opted for a Horchesso. Imagine, if you will, horchata and espresso locked in a passionate embrace. She sipped it with the enthusiasm of someone who's just discovered the last piece of a puzzle - a puzzle that, in this case, was both delicious and invigorating.

I saw a lot of interest from my follower base on Instagram which is what drove me to try this place. Let me tell you I was not disappointed, One of the very aspects i love most about barista Del barrio is it's authentic atmosphere and over all above and beyond customer service. when i walked up to the window i had ordered the marzipan hot coffee and breakfast burritos. after a not so lengthy wait i received my order. It's really hard for me to put into words how great the marzipan coffee was. It really elevated my taste buds to work over time and it's robust flavor transported me to when i was a child and my late Abuela (grandmother) would make hot chocolate and marzipan. Pretty sure i had shed a tear at that moment. Going over to the burritos was just about the same quality as the coffee. Chorizo was cooked to perfection as well as the eggs. to my surprise when i opened the packaging i had two burritos which i thought was a mistake however that's how they come. I only thought i was getting one! two burritos for Five bucks! wow! I definitely recommend barista Del barrio. They are a staple among the neighborhood and a beacon of traditional Hispanic and Latin american...

Barista Del Barrio is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop for bringing a community together. I've visited before when they were working out of a tiny trailer in front of their existing location and enjoyed my experience. Now that they have a permanent location they have picked it up a notch in efficiency. Ariana, who works the window, was exceptionally cordial, and even yelled back and told the kitchen to make my Chorizo y Huevo Burrito extra special for the new guys! I must say that the Burrito was Tasty! Seating is limited and only outdoors, and not sure if they had wifi there. Highly recommend :) stopping by and supporting your local Barista straight from Barrio Hollywood.

07/26/19: Have to put another comment and have given upgraded Barista Del Barrio to a 5-Star rating. Been visiting regularly over the past few months and they don't miss a beat on "Service". I totally into the Chai Teas and if there's isn't the Best the "Service" makes it the BEST! There's a Buzz in the Air and it's my PEEPS from the Barrio.
