This is an Update* We went yesterday right when they opened just after 3p and almost didn't go in as we were flabbergasted to find 10! To Go parking spots put right up on the first row in front of the restaurant!! They have 4 handicapped spots ( 2 more than the required) and 1 Purple Heart Veteran spot on the curb front all were taken. It was pretty busy and there was a wait for tables already at 330p. We found a parking spot down further for clarification I am handicapped but they were all taken) Those 10 To Go spots were all empty! We asked the staff why those were put in in the first row and why so many?? They said they would send the Owner over to speak with us.. we ordered our food, which as below is my usual. The owner came and said " I heard you want to yell at me" That wasn't the way to open a conversation .. but I asked why 8 spots and was told no there were 10! I miscounted! He proceeded to tell me there were more people ordering To Go now and he had cars causing problems sitting at the curb and fire lanes.. so instead he took prime parking spots from customers that come in and sit and tip his staff and enjoy his restaurant! Not to mention most of those ToGo orders are picked up by Door Dashers or Uber eats drivers not the actual customer themselves! I was appalled by his lack of service to actual customer ls from a restaurant that used to be so in touch with good Texas syle service.. shame on you Texas Roadhouse 😕 First it was the peanuts off the floors and into bags, no more country music playing and dancing waitresses.. I change my original post.. you csn go wrong with Texas Roadhouse if you can't park there to begin with!
You can never go wrong with Texas Roadhouse and those fresh baked rolls... a nice cold beer and best tenderloin (Dallas filet) I always ask for a larger 10oz cut... the service is quick and friendly and lots of TVs to watch your...
Read moreThis was a horrid visit. Somebody at TRH though it would be a good idea to put a metal sign at head height across a sidewalk near the outside seating. We waited outside about 30 minutes to get a seat. When we were called, I stood up and walked right into the metal bar holding the sign. I snapped my head back and had instant pain in the back. The person taking names at the podium saw it, and said "it happens all the time".
I went inside and asked to speak with a manager to inform him that I'd hurt myself on the sign and to show him how dangerous it was. His response was incredibly arrogant and rude. Instead of thanking me for pointing out the problem, he had the audacity to say "It's a permanent structure. You should have watched where you were walking". I couldn't believe this young person had the nerve to talk to me that way.
Now, on to the meal. My wife and I ordered steaks which were prepared promptly and were pretty good. However, I asked for a baked potato as one of my sides. When the steak came out, the server said my potato wasn't ready and it would be about five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, my steak was done, and the potato was still missing. She asked if I wanted something else. No, I want a baked potato. I never heard another word and the next thing you know was "how are you paying". I was billed for the full meal. I asked if they gave me a credit for the potato. The manager got involved and gave me a whole dollar off the bill for no potato. But when I look at their menu, a baked potato is $3.49.
Now, my neck and back are hurting due to the impact with the sign. So it's off to urgent care to...
Read moreOur encounter with Manager at Texas Roadhouse on Wilmont and Broadway. Britney is the worst manager I’ve ever encountered—completely unprofessional with terrible customer service. We called both the day before and two hours prior to our reservation as advised by staff on phone to confirm that our party of eight could have two tables pushed together. We were assured this wouldn’t be an issue. However, when we arrived, we were told we would be seated at separate booths, which was unacceptable and not what we had been promised.
When we raised the issue, a male manager initially came over, apologized, and said he would try to help. But then Britney stepped in, dismissing him with, “I got this, you can go.” She showed no professionalism or respect for her staff. Instead of working toward a solution, she bluntly stated, “This is all we have; we don’t put tables together.” Ironically, there was a booth with a table put together right in front of us. When we pointed that out, her only response was, “You’ll have to wait 45 minutes.” When we pushed back, she refused to engage, saying, “I’m not going to argue with you.”No apology at all not once saying I apologize for this but let's see what we can . Nothing at all.
This wasn’t about arguing—it was about the fact that we had called ahead and were given completely different information. Ultimately, we waited about 15 more minutes before a solution was found. Thankfully, our waitress and the rest of the staff were amazing. Several employees even apologized for how the situation was handled and for the disrespectful, unprofessional attitude of...
