Waffle House — Restaurant in Tucson

I had went out to eat at this waffle-house with my boyfriend and his parents. When we walked in, a waitress had greeted us & the order wasn’t correct. She gave me a different drink from what I asked that had tasted watered down & less food then a normal-sized plate would have. While eating there, I felt very uncomfortable because of the women working there just seeming stuck-up & bitter by staring my way & gossiping about me, they seemed like they were laughing or talking about me in a negative way by looking at me here & there and talking amongst a group with their eyes on me & I wasn’t sure & thought it might be because of the way I looked that day due to the way my mask fit which was a bit big on me but kept on the whole time besides eating & possible insomnia which makes me look more tired than some people & my social anxiety. It made me feel hurt. I just got a bad impression of them & weird vibes so I felt highly frustrated and did not want to stay in there, I walked out fast out of there & they had remained silent after that which was weird so I decided to just stay in the car the rest of the time while I waited for my boyfriend & his parents to finish eating so we can leave. Hopefully they have improved on a better, friendlier service & become more professional with how they treat customers. I don’t really want to go back because of my experience eating there & I hope they haven’t treated other customers like they have with me & hopefully no more new customers have to go through what I did either. Overall, I was dissatisfied, annoyed & disappointed from being there & that was the first time I went there. Most customers have had positive experiences there but mine was negative which I find unfair but will not tolerate any rude or negative comments about my post because not everyone has the same...

Well I come here a-lot around 3 am when we take lunch at work. Usually they are very attentive and quick , but not tonight. there was a girl that I had not seen there before and the typical dude cook. So when I came in I knew exactly what I wanted already , and kind of had to wait a little longer than I would’ve liked to put in my order. So then she took the order and I told her I was going to use the restroom. Well I was in there for a good few minutes, and when I came out I was sitting down for another good few minutes. During that time I was staring at the server, and I was watching the Cook mess around on his phone. After about five minutes she put in my order. I honestly must have been there for ten minutes already. I can understand if you were busy, but the cook had nothing to do and was messing on his phone, when he could’ve been making my order, if she had put it in. So I only have a 30 minute lunch, and by the time I got my food I only had like 10 minutes left and I had to scarf it down so quick and take a lot of it to go. If she would’ve just put my order in when I actually ordered I would’ve had 20 minutes or so to actually take a little bit of time and enjoy my food a little more. But instead I basically had to shovel it and leave. I was going to leave $2 for my tip but instead I left $1 because they didn’t have any sense of urgency in putting in my order. Next time I will call ahead for my dine in order because Im not going to risk being late from lunch because the staff was being slow and apathetic.

P.s. the food tasted great though and was all hot. Eggs were a tad browned but Im just rly picky about having no skin/brown on my eggs, but they were still good...

Just left this place, and im not one to give reviews unless I really had a bad experience. I work customer service everyday and the service i got tonight was completely unacceptable! . One of the worst food experiences I've had. I call in my order at 8:09pm. I spoke with an older lady she seemed a little upset over the phone. But was polite, i tried telling her how I want my steak and she responded "ma'am hush, I need to know about your eggs" ..Thinking maybe she had a bad day, I overlooked it. . I get to the place at 8:22pm. The food wasn't ready. But I wasn't really in a rush. So I didn't mind. The older lady took my money and stared at the bill for 5 mins no exaggeration. Then calls another lady to the counter to check if it's real. She says she isn't sure. . So they hand it back and forth exactly 4 times. Then says it's real. WELL OF COURSE IT IS. . Im still trying to not get upset with these women. By this time it is 8:37 I received my order. I get to the car , and something tells me to check. . All of my food was incorrect. So I go back in the store , let them know it's not my order.. they take it back, and hand it straight to another woman standing at the counter.. Not even knowing if I touched the food or not (disgusting) . Tells me my food isn't done STILL. . The lady beside me , let's them know she is missing items... By this time it's 8:57 and I'm pissed. I finally received my food and I still had a few things messed up. . I didn't even get an apology the entire time I was there. I will never be coming back to this location. Definitely needs...
