Read moreUpdate: please everyone, what these people are doing to people is wrong. They have horrible customer service and the fact that they require a $100 deposit that most never get back, is unethical. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
I had a horrible stay at this hotel. First, as soon as I walked into the room, I noticed how filthy it was. There were also numerous maintenance issues such as peeling paint, holes in the ceiling and cracks in the wall. The hotel itself smelled of burnt popcorn and had shady people around it. The sliding glass door didn't lock but it did have a bar. I didn't have any hot water. And also the hotel DOES NOT look like it is pictured. Now, onto the service. This was the WORST customer service that I have ever received my whole life. The day that I went to check out, the manager at the front desk informed me that I will not be getting back my $100 security deposit because it smelled like marijuana in my room. I insisted that I did not smoke in the room, I just spilled some weed from my pipe on the counter in the room and that's where the smell came from. Her and the assistant manager, the housekeeper, were both yelling at me while I was at the front desk saying that yes, I did smoke weed in that room and they had the proof. The housekeeper said that I wiped down all the surfaces in the room and that was further evidence that I smoked marijuana in the room. I only wiped everything down because the room was absolutely filthy and disgusting. So, as I was leaving the housekeeper/ assistant manager followed me as I was walking to my car which unfortunately, had a flat tire. Which is one of the reasons that I needed my security deposit back. As she followed me, I explained that I was in an emergency situation and why was she being so cruel to me. I begged for her mercy as she threatened to call the cops and a tow truck to have me and my car removed from HER property. I explained that I just needed to call my insurance company to get a tow truck sent, and she refused to hear a word I said, yelling over me so I couldn't talk. I left the hotel, forced to drive my car on a flat and risk damaging it with tears streaming down my face. I have never been so humiliated in my whole life. I expected more from a company who is supposed to put their guests...
