Ugh!!!! I LOVE pancakes BUT... Every IHOP I've ever visited had horrid customer service. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST! My husband and I walk in to an alarm sounding. The one other group that was there had kids they weren't paying attention to that opened a fire emergency exit. Fine, kids, whatever, but it took over five minutes for someone to shut the dang alarm off. Then the hostess/waitress seats us and apologizes. However, AFTER 13 MINUTES (yes, I freaking timed it) I had to go looking for her so we could even order and by that time we were literally the ONLY guests in the restaurant. I found her in the kitchen flirting with the busboy. Yes, I WALKED INTO THE KITCHEN to find anyone that would help us!
I REALLY freaking wanted pancakes so we stayed (it was late so not all restaurants were still open and munchies may have been involved in my NEEDING pancakes at that point, even after having to search the place over for our waitress), but after eating, my husband had to go looking for the waitress AGAIN! I generally bug my husband about making sure wait staff get good tips since that is part of their wage and they deserve it BUT I said nothing when he tipped the waitress $2.00. I also said nothing when he told me it was the absolute LAST time he would ever eat at an IHOP (he HATES the service at every one, with good reason). This time, I agreed! Read moreJASMINE was a very unprofessional waitress or server. She shorted us the change on our bill. She informed us that she didn't have it so we were not getting it. She did not ask us if that was ok. So we went to the car to get the exact amount to pay.. Unacceptable. Then I asked to speak to a manager. Kyle came over and said he was the manager. He infact is not a manager. I asked him if they kept proper change to give the customers. He said the server should have it on them and that most customers don't care if they don't give you the correct amount back. Jasmine then came over interupting and speaking over Kyle and I. She said "I asked if that was OK.." No she did not.. With her bad attitude and not caring I should of walked back to the table and taken it out of her tip or taken the whole tip back if I had known she was going to be like that. As I walked out she was laughing about it.. So if Jasmine does this with every customer she scams extra money from everyone and I think that's horrible customer service, poor morals, and a bad representative of your IHOP restaurant and brand. I am still waiting to talk to the actual manager Scott and the owner and corporate. They should be aware of what really goes on...
Read moreI’ve been to this location several times and have had a good experience but today was pretty horrible, we got sat and were waiting patiently to be served for at least 5-8 minutes, then a couple sits right by us and gets served immediately and and the waiter finally acknowledges us but still doesn’t come by to take our order, by the way I am on a work lunch so I don’t have much time. I go and try to see if there’s someone who can help us and I very hear the waiter say “they can wait a while” to the hostess that grabbed our drinks” I am told later on by the assistant manager that he was talking about guest in the lobby, but I clearly do remember there was no one waiting. So at this point I ask them to seat me in another section because I feel like I’m being an inconvenience to this waiter, thank fully Jamie ends up waiting on us and 40 minutes after our arrival we finally get our food. I feel there was a lack of communication, as a previous restaurant worker, I feel the restaurant manager should have communicated with the kitchen to have our food expedited since I did have 3 children with me.
