The Habit Burger Grill — Restaurant in Tulare

While this is a chain restaurant, the customer service provided by the staff is outstanding, and warrants praise. Recently, I had went in to order lunch after they had opened. I was the second customer of the day with a normal meal order. However, I started to notice that people who placed orders after me was getting their orders ahead. Before asking what was going on, the staff noticed that I had yet to receive my order. They asked me about my order and sprang into action. The manager was notified and came out to provide a formal apology. Turns out my order was never placed in the system and was not sent to the kitchen. I did not even have to lift a finger, they personally served me my food where I was sitting and provided things I could have gotten up and have gotten myself. My food was taken away when I was done. Wish I'd see them clean trays and the disc they give you to alert when order is ready. They just restack them. It wasn't busy. Many tables were also dirty. Good burger but over salted french fries and many were tiny. I got food illness here once, but it's convenient for trips along the 99 Freeway. Guarded recommendation.

Update: Received a response from The Habit- that they created a "ticket" and I'm not impressed. I'm also too busy to help make the obvious changes needed. I stopped here twice on a weeklong trip and noticed the same issues both times. Now, I know I just need to find another rest/meal stop that cares about customers during this...

Husband and I went and got food from the location on Prosperity. The food itself was really good. We both got burgers and fries and I had a strawberry shake, all of which was delicious. The only downside was the customer service we recived from the drive through worker. She was rude and ignored my husband when he tried to request a drink carrier for our 3 drinks (got food for a friend too) and she more or less just shoved everything out the window in my husband's face. I am very disappointed with the customer service we received and we'll be heading to the Mooney location next time to hopefully avoid more rude behavior. But overall the food was...
