Vali Coffee in Tulare, CA, is truly a hidden gem that every coffee lover needs to discover. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was struck by the welcoming and laid-back atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The decor is modern yet cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating and a vibe that invites you to linger.
But let's talk about the coffeeâit's exceptional. Vali Coffee takes pride in serving high-quality brews, and it shows. I ordered their signature espresso, and it was nothing short of perfection. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it was easily one of the best espressos I've had in a long time. The baristas here clearly know their craft, and they prepare each drink with care and precision.
I also tried one of their seasonal specialties, the lavender honey latte, which was a delightful surprise. The flavors were well-balanced, with just the right hint of floral sweetness, making for a unique and refreshing drink. Their cold brew is also top-notch, strong and invigorating without being overly bitterâperfect for those hot California days.
Beyond the coffee, Vali offers a selection of pastries and light bites that are fresh and delicious, making it an ideal place for breakfast or a quick snack. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend a new drink or help you find your next favorite brew.
Overall, Vali Coffee is a standout in Tulare's coffee scene. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, Vali Coffee has something for everyone. I'll definitely be...
Read moreIâve been here several times and enjoy it, but my mobile order experience today was frustrating. The app said my order would be ready in 16 minutes. When I arrived, I walked up to the counter and let them know my name and that I had placed a mobile. The barista let me know they were working on it. A few moments later I saw an iced drink and oatmeal bar placed out â the bar had my name on it, so I assumed the drink was mine too.
The baristas were chatting and I didnât want to interrupt so I grabbed the two preordered items. Then a staff member told me it wasnât my drink. I apologized and returned it (I hadnât sipped it, but I had placed a straw in). She threw it out and then turned to her coworker and said, âCan you get started on the mobile orderâ. I had ordered ahead specifically to avoid waiting â and they hadnât even started it yet. I understand itâs a small business and perhaps they were busy with online orders but it does defeat the purpose of the app if they start your order after you arrive.
What made it worse was hearing multiple apologies given to the other customer letting them know that their drink had to be remade due to another customer taking their drink. I felt embarrassed, especially as I was the only other person physically there. I caused food waste and waste of another persons time unintentionally. I felt singled out.
Feedback: if there's a delay, just let the customer know. Maybe call out the customers name whose order is ready or give a time estimate on mobile orders? Everyone deserves to be treated respectfully, even if a...
Read moreGot a macadamia nut iced latte with oat milk. They do charge extra for oat milk but I think itâs worth it in this latte. Brings a good balance of flavors. Macadamia nut usually isnât a strong flavor but this one has a pretty good macadamia nut flavor. Probably would be stronger with regular milk.
The staff seemed friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere had a good feel overall. Feels like itâs trying to be a cafe lounge where you can hang out, slightly classy but you donât feel underdressed when you walk in. Overall...
