Captain D's — Restaurant in Tulsa

Update:. Hadn't been to Captain D's in a couple of years because the service had gotten so bad so we thought we'd try it again. My husband and I ordered off of the Senior menu as we've done since we retired a few years back. We both ordered the Senior Fish and Chicken meal, which includes a drink. The food was delicious. However, the chicken was barely more than two nuggets -- at least half the portion that used to come with it. And we were given sippy size cups instead of the regular size that used to come with that meal. I asked why we got sippy cups and were told they were out of the regular size, which wasn't true. I took a pic showing all their normal drink cups on the counter and no size seemed missing. So disappointed I Captain D's. I grew up just a few blocks from one and we ate there often, and it was always a five star experience. After giving them another try, I think we're just going to give up on this restaurant.

So, please keep that in mind when considering this restaurant, establishment, and/or venue. REVIEW: We've been going to this restaurant for years and love their food. However, the last 3 visits were horrible. Most recently, we ordered the fish and chicken combo. The food was good but it wasn't until we received our meal we were told there was no ice for the drinks nor any utensils available to eat with. And no apology for either. The time we went before that we went through the drive thru and learned after we pulled away that we'd not received the coleslaw we ordered and paid for, and so we returned. Again, no apology for the inconvenience. The time before that we ordered the fish and chicken dinner but they failed to give us the chicken. Plus, the fries were so cold they were like rubber. When we went back to get the order corrected, there was no apology, again, and the employee was rude. For those reasons, we no longer give them a five star rating but can only give them...

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I'm visiting from out of town and decided to try this place because a friend told me about it and I wish I would not have. My experience was terrible from start to finish. I have been running all day so I decided to order through the drive-thru. The gentleman tells me that he would be with me shortly. I was waiting for over 12 minutes and no one still came to take my order. I decided to go inside to place my order. They took my order immediately. I ordered the four piece catfish with broccoli and okra and a two-piece fish with two pieces of chicken with okra and mac and cheese. Now keep in mind they charge extra for both okra and mac and cheese. I waited for about 20 minutes and received my food. I drove 30 minutes back home. When I opened the container there was barely any food in it and the prices that they charge is ridiculous for the amount that they give. But the worst part is the okra and mac and cheese that they charged me extra for I had neither one in the box!!! Instead they gave me fries!! I don't even eat fries. I called them five times back to back with no answer to their phone. DO NOT EAT HERE!! And to top it all off their food was very mediocre for the price I would...

My Hubby and I wanted some Captain D's and there's not 1 by us. Since we were near Owasso, we decided to stop there, but we couldn't order inside (Unsure why, but there was a notice on the door from Management that ONLY Drive-thru was open). So we drove to the Admiral location. Since we had Our Baby w/us (Pitty- Remi), we took turns going inside to order. After receiving our meals, I noticed his okra wasn't fresh or crisp. So I went back inside & spoke w/the same Cashier (African-American Woman w/glasses) who had taken our orders. She had the cook remake My Husband's meal. She was Really FRIENDLY and a GREAT Multitasker (there were 2 TPD Policemen and 2 other Customers, by the time I'd returned)! She made sure Everyone's food was Correct and that we All were taken Care of. She then gave me the other order to "Bless Someone else" and I did so, by paying it forward w/a Couple I saw walking. Once we left and began eating our food, everything tasted Good (Fish; Butterfly Shrimp; Hushpuppies; Green Beans; Okra & Gumbo). We'd DEFINITELY return to this location, in the future, when we're in the mood for more...
