Hot Wok — Restaurant in Tulsa

Ordered 2 meals + appetizers + dessert. Both meal combos were fried rice, with a little 'garnish' of the falsely advertised main entree. I received less than 1/2 of the advertised appetizer, ditto with dessert. Being reasonable, I advised management who did nothing. They ignored me. Wish I used a credit card to give them incentive. After all, I ordered 2 full combo entrees, not 2 boxes of rice!

Had previously ordered delivery, they say allow @ least 1 hour. It was just under 2 hours, during non-peak hours. Watch their wording loopholes.

They advertised freebies if you purchase higher dollar levels. Good luck! That wasn't my experience multiple times.

Food arrives almost warm. Plan to heat your delivered food at your home. I was so disgusted, I tried to feed my dog the rice. For some reason, & I trust her sharp sense of smell, she refused the rice. Dog isn't remotely a picky eater. I took her lead & threw the bluntly unfulfilled order in the trash. All that $$ to just line the trash can.

I will never, ever order from them again! This demonstrates how some establishments are using pandemic deliveries to blatantly rip off reasonable, patient, customers.

To order entrees & but they deliver a box of almost exclusively rice, in addition to an incomplete, but fully paid order is worse than bait & switch! At least an unethical 'switch' would remotely resemble original enticement to...

So the ratings don't seem so appealing BUT they are basically on having to WAIT. Yall when I tell you it's worth the wait it is!! I ordered through website easy and was done on time(I showed up early to check the place out) HOT and Fresh heard them cooking our food was so impressed..The building and reviews might be a turn off ( I debated going honestly But kept thinking these are the places to find a little Heaven) but I lived in Minnesota they had this little hole in the wall place just like this and when I say I've looked for years for something that tastes like that food this is it!.Childhood memories flooded in first bite! My family was impressed even my toddler and thats saying a lot because she never eats anything but noodles. We had never eaten here before but decided to try it out and support a local business. We ordered vegetable fried rice, cheese wontons, a pork egg roll, and beef broccoli with plain fried rice. The wontons were tiny, greasy, chewy, and had almost zero filling. It tasted like undercooked, plain wonton wrappers. Super disappointing! If that wasn’t bad enough, my vegetable fried rice was SHRIMP fried rice. I’m grateful I don’t have an allergy! I decided to taste it, again - no flavor, greasy, had obviously frozen peas and carrots, and minimal other vegetables. The pork egg roll was burnt and had no flavor. I’m writing this review in the car on my way back home, so we haven’t tried the beef broccoli yet but my hopes are not high. Our dinner was ruined and we will never go back.
