Had a group of friends go to Margaritaville for their NYE's Party. Service was extremely slow. Ordering drinks at the table would get lost and have to be reminded 30 mins later, line for food was also slow. Wasn't able to finally eat dinner till 10:15 pm. We had purchased the VIP tickets which is upstairs seating. the VIP area was open till 1:00 AM. we would occasionally go down stairs to dance or to the bar and get drinks to hang out. near the end of the night we went to our table to find they pre-closed all of upstairs. all our items were still at table but they had removed our drinks. we were standing around the upstairs bar and not one person came to us informing us they are clearing off tables and we need to move downstairs. when we asked about it we were met with hostility by security and told we can't be up here now and must leave. we asked the Manager on duty what time does the VIP area close upstairs which she replied 1:00 AM. We showed her the phone displaying the time of 12:43. we asked about having our drinks replaced or reimbursed which they refused, they wouldn't let other members of our party retrieve their items at the table. we left Margaritaville bar area and standing in the casino just in front discussing amongst ourselves. they decided to approach us again but this time they brought the Casino police. it was very unprofessional in the manner of respect displayed let alone escalating the situation that could have easily been handled without aggression.
Our waitress was extremely friendly and the DJ as amazing all evening. I wouldn't recommend ever doing their NYE party unless you don't mind poor service and...
Read moreI've been twice so far. The first time, my mother came to town and we went. Awesome time. Ballon artist's on stilts, creative Jimmy buffet themed decor. A quality, surprisingly family friendly environment. Seriously, family's bring kids here, and rightfully so, it's a fun place.
The second time, same decor, Christmas themed balloon artists (in July, lmao), and live music for a change. But the service.....
Immediately rude. Aggressively wanted us to order entree's when we wanted to try a couple of different apps. Non stop coming by while everyone was getting situated like washing hands and such. Couldn't ask for anything because she would immediately turn around after slamming down whatever drinks or food she brought. She came by while we were still eating and asked if we saved room for dessert. I asked for a menu and she barked back that they only had three desserts. When we selcted the banana pudding, one she listed, she said we were wrong on what it was despite her literally saying it. When she left, I asked for a menu from a different employee, and sure enough, banana pudding. She brought us the check and continued ignoring us. Once again I had to go to a different employee. We ordered 3 of the non alcoholic Daiquiri in different flavors. And of course, they brought them out in to-go cups. They were quite good, but we were waiting for the live music to start. We sat and enjoyed them anyways.
Beginning to end, God awful service. Could of just been a bad night, but it certainly made ours bad. Probably will be back, the menus too good, but I sure hope we don't get her...
Read moreIf I could rate this zero stars, I would. My husband and I, along with a group of friends were very disappointed and honestly disgusted with our experience at Margaritaville Tulsa. Pool side was wonderful. Our group of 8 spent 3 hours in the pool. My husband, a grown adult, had three beers in that time period. We decided to head to dinner at Margaritaville. Our large party was seated and we ordered drinks. The waitress would not allow my husband to order a beer and quickly got her manager. “Manager Spencer” came to our table and told us that he observed us in the pool and made the decision that my husband was too intoxicated to be served another beverage. We asked what exactly he observed and he would not give us an answer, just “based on my training”. We asked to speak to another manager. He said he was it. There was nobody else we could speak to. He proceeded to tell us that if anyone in our party gave my husband a beer, we would be thrown out. He also said he has notified the rest of the restaurants in the hotel/casino and they would not serve my husband either. The way that man spoke to myself, my husband, and our friends was atrocious. Had he pulled our card, he would have seen that my husband had 3 beers in 3hrs. We ended up walking out of the restaurant, being followed by security guards as if we were criminals. I walked strait to the hotel desk and spoke to a manager who just shook his head. He himself walked us to the Fireside Grill where we had an awesome dinner and DRINKS. Margaritaville lost out on a big dinner ticket, and our business from...
