This is a true coffee drinker’s coffee shop. The coffee served is strong, bold, with prominent bitter and burnt flavors. Tamed with steamed milk in a latte, it is an appealing cup of coffee. I believe Nordaggio's Coffee roaster provides coffee to several other coffee shops in the Tulsa area. Most likely their main business focus. Running an espresso machine and serving coffee their secondary priority. The service is exceptionally slow. The guy running the espresso machine (the only person making coffee) spent 15 minutes dinking around, making and tasting coffee, but never produced a cup for the customers. There were two other cups of coffee in front of us. It was 20 minutes before those were set on the counter. The young lady taking orders at the register had disappeared. She returned; I got in line to ask about our to go order. She got cups out and finally we got coffee. The employees radiate indifference. The owners are obviously unconcerned about customer service. The three stars are for the coffee only. We enjoyed our drinks, however a return visit is unlikely.

I went here for the first time Sunday morning and will definitely be coming back frequently! Tucked away in a strip center on the Southwest corner of 81st and Lewis doesn’t give it justice as to what you’re walking into. Once entering you are greeted with the sights, sounds and smells of a hipster and industrial coffee shop. With plenty of comfy chairs and couches for relaxing. They even have a fireplace during the cold months. They also have huge burlap bags of coffee in the corner for added aesthetics and use as well. The coffee is great also! I tried the iconic iced runt this visit and the limited hive rind which were both amazing! We also tried the cinnamon roll and the pork belly croissant. Both were 10 out of 10, would recommend! The staff is super friendly and fast as well. Next time your in the area stop by.

This is my favorite coffee shop in South Tulsa, and one of the few quality coffee shops in this area as well. Being in South Tulsa, I think this shop appeals to a lot of people, including lots of students from Oral Roberts University, who's campus right across the street. This shop has a lot of fun quirks - like hairy cactai, mid-century styled decor, and tons of coffee painted art - which by the way I think is really really impressive. Because their culture is so student-centric, Nordaggios is almost never loud, like, never. If you're someone who needs a quiet environment to get work done, and can't handle the buzz of some of the other shops, this is the perfect place for you.

I was so excited to find out there was a local coffee shop by my school. So let's start with the good things about this place. The employees are very friendly and very discerning with your drinks (the barista knew somehow I needed more ice and chocolate just by looking at me, which was impressive). They also engaged in conversation with me, and let me play one of my songs on their radio, which threw me off in a good way. The espresso was very good, although not as nutty and sweet as I like (everyone has different tastes), and slightly more acidic then I like. Something about the aftertaste threw off my pallet. I was impressed by their equipment. They seemed like they cared about the quality of their coffee. Now, my least favorite part, but I have to mention the negatives. Half of the employees seemed fairly quiet, which could be unappealing to some customers. You want a barista to be charismatic sometimes about the coffee, especially if it is your first time there. The space in general is extremely small, (not as lively as it should be) and looks like it is under construction (it surely may have been), but it made me just want to go in my dorm room instead, to drink my coffee. One of the biggest things that didn't make sense to me, and really disappointed me, was their lack of syrups and sauces. Any coffee geek knows you can appreciate the taste notes in coffee itself, without additives, BUT if you are going to use a chocolate sauce, please use a good quality one, like Guittard, Monin, or Ghirardelli-not Hershey's chocolate sauce?! It almost made me laugh. There was only three choices for syrups too. Overall, it's okay to me so far, although I loved getting to talk to some of the quirky and friendly employees. I will come back for sure, and give it...

Their standard espresso roast is a nice, deep, rich blend, but for some reason Gypsy Cafe pulls it better than their actual coffee shop does.

I pop in once every few months, and every time not only am I disappointed by the service but also the coffee. Today was an added insult as I paid $6.40 for a drink that costs

Tried this place for the first time yesterday, absolutely disappointed. I only came because of the good reviews and I needed somewhere to get some work done. I wasn’t really in the mood for coffee but decided to get one anyways because that’s what you do when using their WiFi and space. $9??? For a latte with Oat Milk?? That seems a little obscene but alright. So if I’m paying that much for coffee, my standards are obviously going to be high, the coffee tasted very bitter and over extracted. If you’re going to ask that I pay $9 for a cup of coffee it better be incredible. Anyways, I drink my burnt latte and try to get some work done however I’m not sure if the baristas were cleaning the espresso machines or what the issue was but every few minutes a loud noise (sounded like an air compressor so I’m assuming the steam wand) would go off for several minutes. I assumed after one time they’d probably be done as I was the only person in here so there was no reason to continually clean it, 5 times later it was so overwhelmingly loud I decided to work somewhere else. $9 for coffee is a luxury, u do not mind paying that if the experience meets those standards and this fell incredibly short of that. There’s better coffee...
