Unsafe Environment: On Sunday, June 12th 2022 there was a grease fire inside the Pearl Beach food truck. Obviously the owner did not get it inspected and approved for reopen because it is now Friday, June 17th, the truck is open and serving food, even though the truck vents don't work and the grill doesn't work. I can't imagine they have safe food storage considering the damage. Plus the truck doesn't have AC. Currently the heat index in Tulsa OK is over 102°. The management and owners lack of concern for their employees is appalling. This is absolutely an unsafe environment for both staff and customers. I have reported these conditions to OSHA and the Tulsa Health Department.**06.19.2022 Paxton the GM private messaged me via Facebook. Stated in the private message - "Jakob notified our general manager of the truck's heat, and she got caught up, and did not notify me in a timely manner." This conflicts with your public message that "as soon as higher management was informed, the food truck was closed and the fan was repaired." The statement of, "Unfortunately, our employee (and your boyfriend) chose to inform you before informing higher management." Is also incorrect, your management was alerted to this issue and told the employees working that evening (Luis, Ethan, Jakob & Rachel) that the truck needed to stay open until the league game was over. Which I believe is around 11:00 pm. The food truck was only shut down after a concerned citizen took further steps to alert the appropriate authorities, since Pearl Beach management failed to take immediate action. I would hope that this manager you mentioned who failed to alert you in a timely manner has been made aware of this error and is taking further safety training. The employees that alerted their manager to the danger should be praised for bringing this issue to management, which helped avoid serious health issues, such as heat exhaustion &/heat stroke. Which no doubt also helped your business...
Read moreWas a really fun place to be. They have Jynga and volleyball. Plenty of room. Decent selection of beer. We brought a drinking card game for my friends birthday. We brought our dog with us as pets are welcome. We sat at a table playing our game and encountered a man next to us with his dog . His dog tried to come at our dog viciously we asked the employees to come help. They came out but did nothing. The dog went to chase a ball and pulled the man off his seat and he fell to the ground and spilled his beer and the dog got loose. Then they proceeded to stumble on the volleyball court. I went in to ask them to have him leave because it was right next to us and we had to make sure the dogs were ok. They never came out. The man came over to my table and started telling us that he was hiding from the cops and we asked him to leave he would not. I asked the employees to tell him to leave our table because he was hiding from the cops and didn’t need to be at our table. They didn’t seem to have a care in the world until I took it upon myself to get up and tell the man to get the hell out of here and away from us. Only then did the employees come out to try to calm the situation and he admits he needs to be here to hide from the cops and the female bartender proceeds to ask our table of 7 that are playing a card game to move instead of keeping our safety and everyone’s else’s and making him leave they asked us to move. Which we didn’t . We had a game going on and didn’t do anything to be asked to move. They walked the man and his dog over to another table and let him stay as long as he needed to hide from the cops. That would be my only complaint about this place is me as well as several others in my group has brought this to their attention and they didn’t care. Otherwise it’s a fun place. Staff just doesn’t...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!. I reserved a court on June 10th from 6pm-7pm. We got inside to check in there was only one lady inside who was taking shots with some of the clients in line. I went up to her to ask about the checkin since mine was at 6 and I was waiting for about 10 mins. I was not sure if that was the checkin since she was the bartender. She told me to wait in line which I did. She completely ignore the fact that I showed her I had a reservation and she told me to wait in line. There was about 7 people in front of me getting drinks. After a couple more minutes now 6:18. I finally make it to the bar and I show her my reservation she then gave us the ball. Once she gave us the ball she said she was going to get us pink wrist bands. Meanwhile I reserved court 2. Well there were people playing on my reserved court. I went back inside to ask about our pink wristbands and about the people on our court. There was a line again and she was serving up drinks instead of getting our pink wrist bands. At this point I was so disappointed I wanted to walk out and leave but it’s my best friends birthday so she really wanted to play. So we went back outside and saw the last court was not occupied so we played for about 20 mins. Did not get an hour of court time. I am truly disappointed I went about two years ago and had a blast! This time I was deeply disappointed I spent 43 dollars to play 20 mins. I should have just gone to riverside for free. I bet the flys and mosquitoes have better customers service and know how to run a establishment then the current employees working at this place. Never again will I ever go!!!!!!!!! Just go to riverside it’s free and you won’t be...
