I went to a different Sonic and asked if they had sugar-free slushies. The guy read me off a big list and I chose one. I was adamant that it had to be sugar-free and verified it with him at least 7 times... needless to say it was not. I got extremely sick. I later called to say something to the manager. I accidentally called this location. The girl that answered said her name was Becka and that nothing could be done about it, i should read the menu closer and it's not her problem and hung up. I said "I'd like to speak with your boss and by that I mean the regional or area manager". she gave me a first name refused any more info and would not provide me with a work number to contact the person she called Dianne. She then proceeded to scream at me stating she wouldn't give me the woman's home phone number and hung up. I was like wtf? called back and she started yelling she would not give me the woman's home phone number, i said we can't accomplish anything with you screaming over me and i never asked for a home number thats ridiculous yet she was screaming over me the whole time and then hung up on me again. I called again and she picked up and hung up. I called again and she was sarcastically talking softly, sexy, sweetly to me saying she will give me VERY special food made just for me. she'll include some special sauce at no extra charge which changes flavor depending on what she ate that day. fkn skank. I found the correct sonic after all of that spoke with the manager. she agreed to speak with the guy who told me this was sugar-free and if there was anything else she could do for me like another drink or something. I said no that's fine I just wanted you to know what happened and that making sure everyone knows there are no sugar-free slushies is good enough for me.... now was that so...
Read moreI dont usually rant but this was an absolutely Horrible experience. First off, my wife only has 30 minute lunch so we used the app to order ahead. Thinking this was the best use of our 5 minute travel time. Got there and they had every booth closed and only the drive through open with about 7 cars in line. The tables in front did not have closed aigns on it, so I parked the truck and got out and checked in for the table kiosk. Waited 15 minutes, so now we have only 10 minutes to get back to work. I pushed the button to ask where the food was and got a rude snap back at me, we are only taking orders in the drive through. I immediately stated I ordered and already paid on the Sonic app and already checked in and if my food is not ready I have to go back to work and will be back to get my refund. They said did you check in, and I said yes. They said let me check. Five minutes later they brought our food out and I had to ruch back to drop my wife off for work. Barely made it with only seconds to spare. Then she had to eat at her desk while working. Embarrasing for her at an office setting.
Way to much stress for what should be a seemless transaction.
Come on Sonic, if you are going to allow this kind of operation from your stores, you have to shut off online ordering.
We would have went to Braums if we had known this was gonna happen. Never again will I use this particular sonic. Braums is about two blocks away. Way to go Sonic, you are working to make...
Read moreWhere to start.. They don't understand the concept or definition of toast.. well maybe the people who cooked the food that is pictured, those advertising photos all have "toast" pictured and not squished, floppy bread. The service leaves plenty of room for improvement. The people delivering the order seem to care most about giving you plenty of dollar bills in change, and not logically bringing common condiments that would go with your order, so every time you get food, guaranteed you'll have to wait extra time for them to fetch your marinara sauce even if you told them to bring 2. If there is a problem with your order, as there has been multiple times, they treat you like the upmost of hassles to their work flow-- and mind you I'm the one who's now going to be late back to work. I'm not saying my time is more important than yours, Sonic staff, I'm simply saying if I'm late to work because of your mistakes, it negatively and disporportionately affects my wallet compared to the slight hassle you may have in correcting your basic and simple tasks in your careers! (That means I lose more money than you do, and risk being fired simply because I was hungry and picked a restaurant that can't provide it's basic function: fast food)
I give it a 3 because the...
