Disappointed with the way the 2nd pie social went. The first was better than the second even with the chaos of it being the first. However I did like the way they were cutting the pies before people lined up as that would’ve help make it go smoother if it wasn’t for the line issues . The second time was told there was 2 lines and it’s free for all like that doesn’t work. Those 2 things give people the option to do what they wanted. We waited 9 minutes in a line that didn’t move as we saw the other line continue wrapping around the table instead of finishing their side and getting back in the second line to start the second side of pies. Therefore people in that second line that was following rules didn’t even move and it was disrespectful when we showed others like hey please be respectful we haven’t even got pie and your box is full and you are currently eating in line and still shoving your way around the table instead of going to the back of the line. So guess it’s both on other people not respecting others and the way you have people line up.
The way around the table to get pies needs to be executed...
Read moreI’ve been looking for places that sell dessert that is not ice cream and is open at night. Tonight, after dinner, I google “Tulsa pie”. I get the usuals but then I see this place. What? Wife and I go there and sure enough they have pie and are open at night! Anyway, it’s small but very inviting inside. They had many pies but were out of a couple and had a savory pie. I chose the key lime and my wife the coconut cream. I’m new to key lime pies but it was very good. Not too sweet and just the right amount of tartness. The crust was graham cracker and on the thick side which is a good thing because it’s very tasty. The coconut cream pie was as you’d expect(very delicious) with the addition of toasted coconut on top. The crust was buttery and delicious. Definitely going back because I really need to try...
Read moreI googled "where can I get a great piece of pie?" and Common Tart came up in the #1 spot. I had never heard of it, but thought what the heck lets give it a try. When we pulled up I immediately loved the beautifully decorated entrance. Inside is equally beautiful. It has several tables, a few chairs and outdoor seating. All the tables were full with people enjoying their pie and tarts...there were even a family playing a card game as they ate. There were aprox. 8 pies that were staples and a board with specials. I had the key lime and my partner had shoofly pie which was a special. Both were delicious!! Some of the others available were Apple Crumble, French Silk, Coconut Cream, Banana/Nutella, Pear/Almond Tart, Peanut Butter Mousse and others. Give them a try you won't be...
