Black Lake Meadows Reserve — Attraction in Olympia

Nicely kept wide path. If you’re coming with a stroller, make sure it has the big wheels because there’s a lot of big gravel. To the person who wanted restrooms, it’s just not big enough a park. It would be so expensive to put a bunch of trash cans out and a restroom area and expect Staff to come and keep it up every week there’s just no funding for that. Beautiful little trail hidden right in the middle of an industrial complex area. Percival Creek runs along the edge and there's always birds and some other little critters to be seen. I walk my dog here quite frequently. Allot of lunch walkers and an occasional jogger. The path is about a mile loop. you'll see some homeless people in the area on occasion, but they are nothing to be concerned about in...

The city has cleaned this trail up, immensely. There use to be a small homeless presence here and there, and a little sketch. No more.

We have seen coyote several times, but they are more afraid of us. Great walk, flat all the way around. Tons of birds, and the occasional bunny.
