Hit or miss customer service. But the cleanliness is something that is to be desired. Over the last couple months, there is a woman there that is constantly in dirty clothes, several times she has handed me my food with her fingernails packed with dirt, in which I refused and asked for a refund. One day I went in there and there was a shift lead on the floor handling food, operating the cash register whilst having a nose bleed, only reason I knew this is he was holding a tissue to his face and explained that he was having a nose bleed. I said then you probably shouldn't be on the floor or anywhere near food, and I wasn't the only customer who agreed. That was it I called corporate, I know someone followed as the next day I had gone into talk to a manager and get a coffee. The woman proceeded to mess my coffee up 3x. I asked for the manager and they were busy. I hadn't been in since that day which was a few weeks ago, thinking maybe just maybe they may have gotten it together I got through the drive through and order a sandwich and my usual coffee, The GM Lori checked me out and Janice hands me my coffee and guess what she is dirty and her fingernails are packed with dirt. I said to Lori the GM, if your employees are going to be handling food they should probably wash their hands. As I sat waiting for my sandwich, I watched the employees touch food, touch money etc... Not one person washed their hands, not one person was wearing gloves. Then Janice hands me my food with her dirty hands after preparing it. I asked for my money back. For the sake of not catching some disease, food poisoning or getting sick do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. This place is a cesspool that doesn't seem to care about cleanliness, product quality or...
Read moreHorrible experience, horrible coffee. Went there with my mother. I pumped gas and she went in to get coffee. When I finished pumping gas, I went inside with her, and she was at the counter ordering her coffee, for which she had her own travel mug. She then turned to me and asked if I wanted something. I asked for a 16-oz decaf coffee with cream. The clerk rang mine up as a refill like my mom's, which I did not see. So, the kid making the coffee stated I couldn't get a refill if I didn't have a mug. I calmly explained that I understood that, and all I wanted was a 16-oz decaf in one of their cups. He again, angrily, said I couldn't have that without buying a mug. I got pretty mad at this point and yelled that I didn't order a refill, I wanted my coffee in a foam cup! So, he finally gets it, slings it across the counter, and I say, "is it decaf?" It wasn't. This really made him mad. He redid it, gave me a loud and sarcastic "HAVE A GOOD DAY," and again slung the cup across the counter. And it was cold.
(Note: while I was arguing with the one guy, the clerk at the register was correcting the order. We DID pay for the non-refill coffee, which ended up discarded due to the...
Read moreUpdate: last night I had an egg, sausage and cheese on a croissant at DD in Tunkhannock and it was awful. The egg was lukewarm and the sausage was cold and the croissant was soggy. Why in the hell can't employees be trained and held accountable for serving quality food, since I gave them, "good quality money". I really wanted a bagel, but they were out. DD in Tunkhannock should go back and refer to DD's TV commercials to follow the standards they brag about......we deserve better!
Furthermore, this is not the first time I've noticed flies in the store hanging around the donuts.........ya can't know where flies have been.
The coffee was excellent!
