Greenley's BBQ — Restaurant in Tunkhannock

I NEVER write reviews, last night we found this place to eat! Now we ordered our food at 6:30 and they close at 7(I know I’m the worst). I feel like when you do that, you don’t expect the nicest service ever, BUT WOW WERE WE WRONG! This was an AMAZING experience, followed by DELICIOUS food. I got there right as they were cleaning and they proceeded to TALK to me instead of rushing me out. Huge shout out to Liv and Sadie for the fast, delicious food and top TOP tier for making you feel welcomed. Beyond happy this is an option for my family, friends, and work in our small town!!! Been wanting to try every time I come in to visit family, but haven’t gotten around to it until the other day. I got the brisket sandwich to go and some slaw and I’ve gotta say… the brisket was INCREDIBLE. So tender and flavorful and the portion size was larger than I expected! The BBQ sauces were amazing, as well. They let me try them all while I was in and I had a hard time choosing a favorite! No surprise that the slaw was also delicious. Less vinegar-based and more creamy, for reference. Small spot, Not too much seating and all the seating inside are stools at a bar top. Will definitely be returning...

I was up in Tunkhannock this morning and needed lunch, maps popped Greenley's on my screen and I needed to try the local BBQ. The duo behind the counter were delightful. I ordered the brisket and smoked chicken cheese steaks, baked beans, and slaw. Both of the cheese steaks are so flavorful some of the best I've had in years.
