Firstly we really enjoyed our pizza. Secondly, we ordered an 18 dollar pizza for my toddler, wife and I (an adult male) mainly because we didn't notice any other option on the menu, as far as sizes go. It didn't say (or I missed it?) small $ medium $$ large $$$. All I saw was the 18 dollar however many inches. I figured it was some 'artisan' deal and they only had one size pizza spatula or whatever.
We're just dumb city folks from San Diego. Just throwing that in there.
My point mainly was we would have happily ordered a bigger pie if we had seen the option. Maybe the 18 dollar deal should have been enough for 3 people, one being a 2 year old, but we came in hungry and probably a bit on the irresponsible dietary side of things. It was good. GOOD pizza, but either our own error or shoddy menu board production caused us to only see the one option.
While waiting we did see a big pizza dished out. Upon seeing it I reminded my wife that our hotel had a fridge and microwave, and if we had leftovers we could zap them later for a midnight bad decision. If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans, or however that goes. As OUR petite pizza neared it's end we were fighting over crusts like junkyard mongrels. Luckily my wife is a weak women and my son weighs like 15kg.
Speaking of the kid, he was being a little punk so we relocated outside, where we saw another family with 3 little ones. We also saw some of those butane fire warmer things. Unfortunately they were all out of butane and we were out there freezing and fighting over crusts like the Donner Pizza Party.
Again, great pizza. Staff also very nice to us. And we probably just didn't do a good job reading the menu. When I'm in a strange town at a new eatery I get kind of nervous and I am not always super perceptive. Always worried they won't take card or I'm going to order something that's spicy when I don't want spicy but don 't want to ask all these questions. That's why back home we just eat at Denny's and Yogurt Express for all...

Their pizza is to die for!!! The crust is so thick and soft, and their toppings and cheese are so fresh and tasty it’s to die for! My husband and I are pizza lovers and super picky about good quality pizza! Let me tell you, this pizza joint is number one on our list now! We will be recommending it to everyone! The best thing aside from their food is their service! The owner and everyone their are so friendly! Constantly checking on you and even bringing you treats on the house here and there! I have never been so satisfied with customer service and food like I am with Crust & Crumb! Definitely worth trying and I guarantee you will return! It is worth...
Read moreI hate to bash or complain about the restaurants in our community because I believe they are all so great! But I just want to relay for a bad experience we received and Crust & Crub with the Red Steer side…
Last week we were craving Red Steer and decided to get some at Crust & Crumb. They were super busy as they are very popular for their awesome food. The main guy who is ALWAYS there (dark complected, middle aged man) is always extremely rude. I felt so bad, a door dash guy came in to pick up an order and was confused on where to check in at. He asked the gentleman at the red steer and he responded so rudely, “Can’t you see I’m busy, I can’t help you.” I felt so bad for the door dash guy.
I love the food here, but the customer service needs a lot of help. You need to be pleasant with all...
