Turlock Certified Farmers Market — Local services in Turlock

I love this Farmers Market and love that it’s back downtown. Our little downtown area of Turlock is just lovely. It’s the small town atmosphere that has been lost so many places. Young people from other areas love to come to Turlock for the restaurants. The Farmers Market on Saturday just makes it perfect. I will say though, if I owned a business downtown I would be sure to have my store open at 8 AM on Saturdays. On our really hot summer days potential customers arrive at 8 and 9. This is a great place for fresh veggies, food, candles, plants, honey, homemade jams, natural scented sprays, cutting boards, and so much more! There were two issues which made this a 3 star review: parking was very difficult to find, and if a person attends later, around 11:30, many products have been sold already. Since the market runs until 1:00, I thought there would still be more selections. Still, it was fun to see all the different local businesses and I support them by purchasing...

My opinion, the Turlock Certified Farmer’s Market is one of the best, if not the best, in the region. The combo of our beautiful Main Street, the shady trees, tons of great vendors, excellent local storefronts, live music and walkability make this an excellent place to shop, stroll or just hang out and people watch.
