New review, 11/4 Poor service from the manager. They changed ingredients in the Chilaquiles from fresh tortillas to tortilla chips (looked like a plate of nachos). We called the server to ask what happened and to return the food for what was originally ordered. We were very polite and did our best to describe the situation. Our server said the kitchen only uses real tortillas on request. Sure, maybe they are trying to cut costs, I get that. After our server left, the manager came over very aggressively to ask what our problem was. Her posture was aggressive and her tone was rude. She claimed the menu is the same as always and she made the menu 13 years ago. She then rudely asked my friend if she just wanted a floppy tortilla warmed up for her. The unexpected confrontation had my friend nearly in tears and she very quietly said she did not want anything now. The manager continued to be aggressive with her until me and our other friend stepped in and said we didn't want anything.

If you used to like this place, please beware about the new quality of food. Also if you like buying food from nice people, avoid this place. La Mo used to be awesome. This sucks. Now we have to find a new spot. It's funny, there wasn't a long wait for a table today. We left early to accommodate it. Probably telling seeing who the manager is and the poor, inauthentic quality of food.

If you want to take a picture of food for your social media then I guess this will work. I went there recently with a friend and had breakfast, to be honest it was ok...food was nothing spectacular and the decor is simple. I got the tamales which was on special.There was little flavor and the portion was pretty small. My friend enjoyed his food and honestly I wouldn't even be writing a review if it wasn't for the fact that my wife came home today and explained her experience there. Like myself, she went with a friend to have a light breakfast and catch up. After they ate , they were told shortly after that they needed to leave because someone else needed the table. While this is understandable if they were busy the way in which it was handled was extremely unprofessional. The host was very rude and condescending and the staff was actually laughing when she sarcastically told them to have a "great day." Unfortunately that "mean girl" mentality seems to be prelavent in that restaurant as I have seen this in the comments before. For the price and the quality I would be hesitant to go back but the disrespect that was shown to my wife makes it very clear that I will not frequent that...

What happened to the guest is always right? my fiancé and I went to enjoy a meal together and was met with sarcasm rudeness and no empathy. We ordered our meals mine came out cold, there was no courtesy check to see how we’re doing, when Angela finally came to checked on us I informed Angela that my untouched food was cold when it came out, she offered to replace it, but I declined because my fiancé was already done with her meal. when we received the bill, I informed Angela that my plate was still on the ticket. She got loud and made a scene(we had other guest looking at us) and was rude, She said while you ordered it and I offered to replace it I don’t think we can take it off, I think it’s against our policy and I asked if she could just ask, after five minutes of waiting she took it off. I later contacted the manager to inform her of my experience, and there was no apology or concern. She simply stated I’ll talk to the server.
