Always a reliable spot for good food and service! A good amount of indoor dining. Even on a busy friday night, we were seated right away. All the employees here are friendly and are sure you have everything you need. The food is always enjoyable! It's my mom's favorite Mexican restaurant in town, and she comes every week. The shredded or grilled chicken has a great taste. As does the shredded beef and asada. We usually get the tacos, medium fried shell. The chips and dips are always fresh. I love the Pollo en creama, which has just the right amount of spice! Also love the mole enchiladas! Not the best Mexican food in Turlock. Queso tacos were okay. Consommé was very bland, the diced cilantro & onion was tasteless like it had been sitting in the fridge for days. Corn chips and salsa possibly the worst I’ve had in Turlock which is a worry. Service was lacking also, when I asked for a tequila sunrise they said they couldn’t make that so I asked for sangria expecting it to be alcoholic given I had just asked for tequila but she brought me a non alcoholic bottle of sangria which was awful & I couldn’t drink it. Food places need to start taking pride in their business again. Came to this place and there was dead flys all by the windows. Looks like it’s never been cleaned. What grossed me out even more was seeing they have tortilla chip trays stacked on eachother so basically the bottom of the tray that’s dirty, is on top of some chips! Like quit being lazy and just give as needed instead having them all stacked and waiting and sitting there. Disgusting. I hate when restaurants don’t take pride in their business.
