I’ve picked up door dashes a couple of times here and everyone I’ve ever talked to was very kind. Except tonight. I absolutely can’t believe that this person is a manager. I can’t provide her name because she refused to give it to me I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was one and I was in disbelief. I walked in to sonic to pick up the dash I had no idea I couldn’t walk on the floor usually I go in and tell them what I’m here for and then they tell me to wait on the patio. So I told a really sweet white lady the order I had and she told me they were out of something so I was trying to get a hold of the customer to ask for a replacement. The manager comes to the door and opens it and tells me to step outside and she had the most ugliest attitude for absolutely no reason at all. So anyways I step outside talking to the customer trying to hold myself together because I’ve never really had someone be this rude to me. The customer tells me the replacement they want but I was unable to tell the lady that told me to call and ask because the manager locked the door so I stood outside for maybe 10 mins I knocked on the window and called them on the phone no answer. Mind you we door dashers have a certain time we have to pick up and deliver. So finally she comes out with someone else’s order and leaves the door unlocked so I open it still standing outside on the concrete not on the floor trying to get ahold of the lady to tell her what the customer wanted to replace with. She turns around tells me to not go inside with an attitude I said I’m not going inside. She said other stuff but have no idea what she said because I was telling the lady the replacement. She pulls the door open standing next to me asking the lady I’m talking to what I want which made no sense it was very immature. Like why don’t you focus on the order you have in your hands and let me focus on the order I have before the rest of the customer for door dash food gets cold. After she does all that extra talking and hideous very scary eye rolling I step aside and I say I’m sorry. She takes the order she has in her hands to the customer and she comes back talking to someone on the phone about how I’m acting like I can’t hear while swinging the door open very aggressively. Which while everyone else is inside working there butts off she’s on the phone and was when I pulled up. She was outside standing in the corner sounded like she was arguing with someone else. I eventually just left because I was in such shock and couldn’t hold myself together. Hey sonic? How about you hire a manager that’s mature and has a good head on there shoulders and is kind to people and is there to actually work. Not someone who thrives in drama. I understand someone having a bad day but she wasn’t having a bad day she’s just a very ugly hearted person. I’ve been there before to pick up a dash and she was the same way. Usually I ignore it and it doesn’t bother me but today was a very emotional day for me. If you don’t like your job quit it’s that simple don’t try to make others life miserable because yours is. And sonic should do better. I will no longer be picking up any doordashes here under $6. And I’d recommend other dashers stay away and hey sonic if y’all don’t care about the dashers take y’all’s restaurant...
Read moreMy Guy & I went to Sonic SKYLAND TUSCALOOSA around 8:30-8:40 ish last night. 1st things 1st I am a VEGETARIAN but my guy isn't.. Keep in mind I DON'T eat Sonic anymore because WELL there AREN'T many options for vegetarians. Also the few that they do have are almost ALWAYS cooked in DIRTY oil or given out OLD, 🗣️which is why I STOPPED going all together!.. Anywho My Guy wanted to grab a bite to eat before going home🤕. He ordered the number 16 breakfast toaster with sausage tater tots W/ a strawberry lemonade also ordered a 🗣️#SONIC burger. I ordered French toast sticks W/ tots.... All of that totaled up to be about $25.15 I think.. I would like to start off by saying it took at least 25 minutes to get our order... As we were sitting in the parking lot (STILL WAITING ON OUR FOOD) they turned the lights off.. I wasn't sure if the store was closing or what?! But I did notice that they were still taking orders & cars were still pulling into the drive thru. FINALLY we got our food, the carhop I was VERY SHORT & straight to the point also asked us when it came to giving us our change "Y'ALL GOOD??". We let her have the change because she kept asking Y'ALL GOOD😑. Honestly she seemed like she was HIGH on something & ready for more smh!. We opened the bag our food was lukewarm, two medium tots with the portion of a SMALL in each 🚫 fresh by the way, my French toast sticks have no syrup, the Sonic burger we ordered well we were given ⚠️☣️DEATH😵☠️ on a bun (Bacon cheeseburger) that had been BAKING under the heat wave for at least 🧐 8 WHOLE hrs!!!!!!. It was so old that the bacon look like it had begun to FUSE with the Patty of some sort🤢, the BUN & Patty was OLD, STIFF, COLD, the cheese was RIDICULOUSLY stuck to the Patty so much so that he couldn't even peel the damn Patty from the bread, not to mention the STENCH 😵💫of it😶😶🌫️ OMG, ohhhh and don't mention the NASTY AFTERTASTE from the French toast & tots with (no syrup). Literally the only-begotten thing that SEEMED to be cooked fresh was his breakfast toaster sausage sandwich. We went BACK to the restaurant to get a remake or a refund but NO ONE answered the speaker (keep in mind there we're still "WORKERS" inside & the parking lot & drive-thru was FULL of cars)!.. THE FOOD WAS SOOOOOOO BAD THAT WE HAD TO THROW AWAY THE ENTIRE ORDER #WasteOfMoney😡. Sonic (USED TO BE) one of the BEST franchises in the world back when I used to work there '90S & EARLY 2000s.. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. We stopped by on our way home, around 11pm on a Wednesday. We placed a mobile order that promptly gave us an estimated wait time of 6 minutes, and pulled into a stall. The screen said Olivia would be bringing us our food. After 40 min of waiting with no employees coming out to any of the cars, and the drive through moving continuously, we decided to go see what was going on. A door dasher told us we were better off getting in the drive thru line, which was telling. I opened the door and walked in to see at least 10 orders on the counter. I asked one man if he could see if one was ours and I’d gladly take it, and he put his hands up in the air and walked on past like he couldn’t help. Then a female asked me what I needed and I repeated it to her. She began checking but was also talking either to the guy or into her phone about 5 feet from me and said something like, “I know she isn’t coming up in here like that, she gonna be disappointed.”
Not sure if it was directed at me but whatever. She gave me my food with no apology and I left. Our food was cold, milkshake melted. The chicken looked nothing like any other sonic chicken I’ve ever had. The breading wasn’t the same and it was tiny. The corn dog wasn’t crispy. After reading other reviews it actually seems like we got lucky. It seemed like there were more than enough employees inside to have a carhop and a drive thru person so not sure why so lazy. Then when we finally left, the first man I had approached inside was just sitting outside at one of the tables hanging out. ¯(ツ)/¯ The sonic sign on the door said they have a 4 min guarantee from the order being bagged to taking it to the car…...
