KFC — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

after 8-10 hours of driving i got excited that my hotel had a KFC right next door. so often i am tired and forget to get something before i stop for the night, or where i stop has truck parking and no where to eat nearby. anyway i ordered online because with pandemic some places don't open dining rooms. i put my order online and get a receipt via email at 8:17pm. i got over and the girl working says we are closed. i say i have an order i just need to pick up. She says there is only me and one other working, so we are closed early and we threw everything away. mind you i was right behind someone that got their food. it was only a few minutes after i ordered. As a matter of fact i went to walmart, parked, walked in, got a tv and checked out at 8:38pm after this happened. So it was well before the time for them to close even with changes in their hours. it is always something with KFC. I am just sick and tired of excuses and poor management. They are closing early, they have no chicken, they have no strips, they have no white meat. I would have a heart attack if they actually just made an order without an excuse. I want to preface this by saying the staff was extremely hard working and helpful; however, I was very unhappy with my experience here. I ordered 30 minutes prior to picking up, and had to wait another 15 minutes watching 3 people scramble around to make a whole lobby and drive through of orders. Then after that, I was met with some disappointing nuggets instead of tenders. The The lady working the front very kindly exchanged them, and I appreciate her, but the new ones also looked the same. The mac and cheese is always good though. Shrinkflation is really hitting KFC and I’m sad to say I most likely won’t be coming back to one of my favorite classic dining places. Their lack of staff on a sunday lunch rush was honestly appalling. I bet KFC still wants to pay the $9 an hour they did back in the ancient times & is shocked ‘nobody wants to work these days’. The lady on the intercom was very rude when i pulled up she said Welcome to KFC so i ask her a question about one of the items on the menu. She told me what all came on it then i said I’ll get two of those she told me my total i said I’m not done ordering and that I’ll get the meal she said we will change it when you get to the window she didn’t ask what kind of drink i want she proceeded to say a sweet tea i said i didn’t ask for a sweet tea give me lemonade. I left and had to go back because i was unaware that the classic wrap just came with pickles mayo and the chicken but she was very rude. I will never be visiting this Location again. Maybe she was having a bad day but don’t be rude to your customers. We will always remember the experience we had coming there. Hopefully...
