McDonald's — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

This is the worst McDonald's in Tuscaloosa. Scratch that...this is the worst McDonalds I've ever been to period. They are the only fast food place within a 5 mile radius to my house where I can grab a quick bite without driving too far. On some nights they are my only option after working all day and not wanting to drive far or cook at home. I'd say 1 out of every 10 times I'm extremely satisfied. 9 out of 10 times something about my order is bad.

Most times when I go there my french fries are served practically raw. I have to throw them in my deep frier when I get home. I mean how can they not cook a french fry completely when everything is on timers? The fries are usually hot meaning they just came out of the frier but they are raw so they've been served prematurely. On the other hand chicken nuggets are almost always served over cooked and the burgers have usually been premaid so they are a bit aged. I feel that the staff at this McDonalds is super lazy and take no pride in their work. With how often my orders are overcooked and undercooked they either aren't trained to cook correctly or they don't care.

I highly recommend driving to Northport or to the other McDonalds in Tuscaloosa for better quality food and service. The staff at the Rice Mine RD one just don't care about serving food cooked the way...

We were at this McDonald’s (store #31921) today because I had a doctors appointment nearby. I had gone through their drive-thru on previous occasions and thought the food was really good, so today I told my husband I wanted to eat inside. First, we were pleasantly surprised to have a person at the register instead of having to use a kiosk! We always pay with cash, so a kiosk does not work for us. The lady at the register was so pleasant ( her name was Shay). She was handing us our tray of food before we reached our table! Then we noticed how CLEAN this place was! As we were eating, Shay didn’t have any customers at the register, so she began cleaning the drink station, wiping and disinfecting the tables and seats as we watched in amazement. I complimented her on the clean restaurant, and she gave credit to another employee named Boo. They were quite the team! I HIGHLY recommend...

You can consistently count on this location to get your order wrong, have the lobby closed, and generally not care about anything at all.

I cannot overstate how AWFUL this location is. I went there one weekend, it was around 10 or so. ... There were no less than ten cars that came, sat at the drive thru window, waited and said hello?, but nobody came. Finally, after waiting, I watched all of those vehicles leave. So I drove around to the front to see what was going on. There were 4 people laughing and carrying on. Doors were locked of course. I called them. They answered. I asked if they were open. They nervously said yes. I then asked if they were aware that there were a dozen cars in the drive through. They quickly apologized and then turned their headset on. Oh yeah, and I still got my order wrong.... As usual.
