Chocolate Bash — Restaurant in Tustin

Review for Coffee ONLY I’d give this place 0 stars if I could for their coffee.

While yes, coffee is not their main focus here, I thought I’d be able to get decent coffee since their menu includes a variety of different coffee types (latte, mochas, cappuccino, espresso, etc.) That was a grave mistake - ordered 2 different cappuccinos and both were absolute trash.

Ordered a plain cappuccino with soy milk and another cappuccino with Belgium Milk Chocolate - something the barista/server said they could do (fyi was charged an extra dollar for but that was fine).

In the end both drinks were: So incredibly hot, we could not even attempt to drink it until 15 min later. Our first sign that drink was made incorrectly. I mean they were hot enough we had to wrap napkins around the cup holders to even hold the cups. If this had spilled on anyone, it would have been a definite injury. Tasted like burned drip coffee, which means the barista overdrew the espresso shot. Had ZERO foam and the cups were filled with milk. Meaning we were given terrible lattes not cappuccinos.

Ultimately, I believe this location does not properly train their workers on how to use their espresso machine and how each type of coffee is made. If this is how coffee is served here, I honestly think they should take it off the menu completely and focus on their chocolate covered items.

I cannot express in words a more DISS-savory experience than the "Chocolate Bash" – unless of course to the cold, grim, proverbial bash upon the forehead by the whiplash of disappointment dipped chocolate failure of an institution.

Would it help to tell you, we missed our dinner plans? That we needed to remind the cashier of our order and then who we are after forty five minutes of waiting? That we watched them throw out my Turkish coffee, never to start again? The complete lack of ice to my partner's black ICED tea which in fact was not black but hibiscus? Their inability to tell us if the tea was sweet, never bothering to ask/find out? Informing us the hot chocolate was in fact Swiss Miss powdered form? Never handing me the ONE chocolate covered strawberry? That we waited for almost an hour?? You almost ask yourself for what? Why?

The thing is I don't blame the people who work at the chocolate bash, I saw the hundreds of orders they were prioritizing on mobile orders over their customers, I'm just letting you know this is an institution of failure. The Chocolate Bash is a bad place and if you don't believe me read the...

My wife and I have been here a few times before and we liked their chocolate items so I thought I would try it again, what a bad idea that was. I recently purchased a Groupon for chocolate bash, a Valentines Day chocolate covered strawberry bouquet. Valentine’s Day was on Sunday and it say to call or email one day before to schedule a pickup for your bouquet. I noticed in the fine print it said it doesn’t work on Saturday or Sunday which is pretty lame but fine I called Thursday to pick up Friday. After calling at least 5 times I finally got connected to someone and they told me they were already sold out and to pick up Monday! Valentine’s Day is on Sunday!!! Why are they still selling Groupons then??? The next couple days I tried calling multiple times, emailing, messaging ok google and they basically ghosted me. Here I am on Tuesday still trying to get a hold of someone to get a bouquet, I am not sure why I am still trying... bad customer service, would not recommend unless you like disappointing your wife on...
