Came in here for lunch on the weekend, parking was easy to find and it wasn't too busy so we were seated immediately.
For food we ordered Tonkotsu Ramen: This was the highlight of our meal, the broth was very creamy and good, the noodles a good texture and tasted fresh. You're able to order garlic and the spicy suace for free as well which adds lots of additional flavor. -Spicy Tuna Rice Bowl: We ordered the large and surprised that the portion was huge, but taste wise, it was nothing special, just all of the ingredients listed tossed in a bowl and the spicy tuna wasn't anything to rave about -Crispy Chicken: We figured this would be the typical karage served at typical ramen spots, but we couldn't finish ours, the chicken tasted old and had a rancid smell to it. The breading was pretty good as its a softer style breading to it.
"Service Charge" A service charge is added to help support equal wage for all staff, but can be removed if you prefer to leave your own gratuity or a different percentage. CA law requires tax on the service charge.
They include a 16.1625% service charge automatically to the bill that's already printed out with the option to remove it as they hover over you with the payment device. Service was great and I would have tipped the standard amount, but absolutely hate this type of...

9pm on Friday and this location was empty except a handful of tables.
Second time trying HiroNori and learned to skip out on the lemonade, adzuki + matcha latte, mazemen (offered at the Monterey Park location) from my first visit. In my opinion, HiroNori isn't worth the price and service charge for its small menu with items that aren't amazing.
3.5/5 Food - The chashu pork was my favorite part of the ramen. They give you thick, fatty slices. Ramen egg they provide is just half of an egg which leaves me wanting more. The default noodle is thick and if you want a thinner noodle you have to ask.
Shoyu Ramen - | 3/5 | Lighter than the Tonkotsu
Tonkotsu Ramen - | 4/5 | Richness and depth in the broth
3/5 Service - Ample staff, left alone unless you want something. 16% service charge is automatic.
4/5 Ambiance - Lots of space between tables. Grey walls with wall booth seating and brown tables/chairs. A cold interior but it's very...

The Tonkatsu tastes like grilled pork; not like cardboard or authentic. The Ramen experience here is great, but not amazing. I feel like the pork is always overcooked, and the broth is too overbearing. The rice bowls are in huge portions and have unique flavors at work. Frankly, that's all you need to accomplish to be ahead of the Ramen pack around these parts.
Pro tips: the Tonkatsu is fresh right when they open, Spicy paste is free, don't sleep on the karaage, and because the seats are not comfortable, you may wanna eat quickly or not at all.
If you know what authentic Ramen taste like. You will not find it here. Yet, HiroNori delivers good food for the price, which is extremely rare nowadays. Plus, they deliver great addition plates and a Ramen bowl that is meant to make a...
